Well week 1 completed. I incorporated toning with my cardio (walking hills & a workout video that included both cardio & toning).

I've noticed a lot of people say the videos are easy. Most of em are, but the Day 1 cardio video kicked my arse! And the thigh pilates one - my thighs were so sore the next day! Clearly, I have weak legs! They'll get easier with time, I hope!

I made a goal to do at least a video everyday. It could be 10-40 minutes. Having it range from short to long duration of workouts helps me stay successful in actually exercising. I love Judy Greer and her yahoo show "reluctantly healthy" her funny and laid back attitude helps me to finish the workout. I have a ton of Jillian Michaels (whom I respect and it does work) videos I bought and I do those when I can handle the attitude but sometimes it hard to workout upset or stressed so that's why I chose Judy's videos. If you search for her show look for benefits of metabolic conditioning. I am still feeling it.

What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters... Compared to what lies within us.

I'm wrapping up a divorce after a long-term marriage. I'm finally ready to put myself first - and out there. I know how and what to eat, and how to move; I just haven't done any of that during the past year. My goal is to be happy in my body.

Starting today also. I have 6 weeks until I go on vacation to Papua New Guinea. Lots of hiking, walking, swimming, and I want to enjoy it! At 188lbs, I have about 50 lbs to lose, but starting with a goal of 8 lbs in 6 weeks, definitely do-able!

Just finished to work out for Day one. That wasn't so bad ;o)
I tend to have trouble staying focused on being in a challenge, but with this one only being a month long I'm hoping to be able to stick to it.

Hi! I just started today. Still cooling down from the first video as a matter of fact! :-)

I've been doing the 5k Your Way Rookie Running Program and it is great. That is how I'm going to get in my 5 days of cardio.

Hopefully adding in the videos during this challenge will get the scale moving for me again. I'm losing inches, but not weight, which is fine, but it would be nice to see some pounds coming off for spirit and morale!

Day One---check.

Finishing up week 1 but because I was ill I didn't get to do all the videos. Hope to finish those and then be ready to go on to week 2 on Monday. Having a good week with exercise, eating healthy, and tracking.

How do you get the weight chart to show on the posts? Those are encouraging to me to see others who have been where I am and getting to where I want to be.

Hi my name is Tabatha. I am just starting out today i have an 80 pound weight loss goal. I was 220 in Jan 2012 and currently at 205. Funny thing was only thing that changed was I started working full time. Especially working fast food losing weight seems difficult. I am always up for a challenge so I thought this challenge would be fun. Now lets hope procrastination will leave me alone.

Starting over Monday with this Team to get back on track after surgery in August. I need some accountablity and a plan to make it through the holiday season! Will spend time over the weekend to plan food and exercise! My biggest hang up is logging food, so that will be a challenge for me.

Do you still undereat when you track your food? I tend to go over, but the tracking helps me think about it more.

I'm in my first week, and I was a bit sick over the weekend, but I only missed one video and I did two today to make up for it - does that count? I think I'll still be on track if I keep doing cardio tomorrow (my Day 7). Next week I can shift up the schedule so I get the cardio in at the right time. So far so good!

This is my third week in week one, so I've restarted my challenge. In the last two weeks I've gained 3.5lbs. I've adjusted a few of my settings to make sure I'm eating right. I feel very discouraged right now though. Trying to push myself back down and get back on track to my goal.

emoticon I am being cautious of losing my fight tonight. Tonight is a reset your thinking night. I have not walked since yesterday. But the thought of a team goal is making me feel a need to not let the team down. I am going to hit it tonight with a video and walk tomorrow. The rain is slowing down and so am I. So I plan to pick up and hit the ground running so i don't lose my mojo.

Today is my first day for this challenge. Perfect becasue it is raining cats and dogs here. So the encouragement to do a video is right on time.

My goal for this week is to follow the plan exactly and get to a point where I feel funny if I haven't workout for the day. emoticon

I did the Day 2 video tonight, plus 2 hours of gardening this afternoon, and a 10 minute walk. Feel tired and great!

My goal for these four weeks are just to follow the action plan consistently. I don't mind if I don't see much improvement on the scales (though I'd be surprised if I don't!) Routine habits like what the action steps here are instilling into my daily life, are exactly what I need to keep focused on my monthly and overall goals. ROUTINE - I'm learning to love that word!
