I have not been feeling well this weekend so am starting over Day 1 tomorrow morning. I thought I was getting a head cold but it was possibly an allergy attack. Boooooooo......

That is a great start, STRONGLIFE! You GO!

Unfortunately I haven't quite made it yet ... I am actually thinking I will start on Sunday with the new SP week for day 1 and continue on from there. I AM still getting some cardio in daily, albeit somewhat minimal.

Wow, Stronglife, those are pretty much my goals exactly!!!
I am starting at 158/159ish and would like to lose 2 lbs this first week but the daily 'how to get theres' are basically the same :)

guess I am starting over again--- I will do it til I get it right. THis week I have exercised more, and cut down on food intake but now of all things that is really getting to me is that I am always hungry. I am wondering if stress is the actual cause. I haven't gone thru this before. I am drinking more water, but sleep is not been restful. Just have to concentrate and figure out what is going wrong for me now. Been up since 2 a.m. but it is what it is and will deal with the day the best that I can.

To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person that you are. Be true to yourself and enjoy life.

Jumped back in here (signed up in 2012, so I dropped out and signed back up to start over), really using this to keep myself on track with my diet as well (past month has been at about 50%) and haven't worked out since last summer.

Got Monday's workout in, did today's video and am headed for a walk with my SO in a few.

Week 1 and day 1. Today I worked on toning for 10 minutes. I rode the stationary bike for 10 minutes, walked the treadmill for 10 minutes, and did the elliptical machine for 10 minutes. It was a good first day.

The first time through this challenge, I lost about 10 pounds. Now I'm up two. Today is day 1 again and I hope by the end of this challenge I will be down one pants size, one bra size and down to my goal: seven pounds left. Oh yeah, plus better repository health!

I did the daily video and felt awesome.
I also did 20 min pilates afterwards, because I still to take kick-boxing classes this evening.
But this 8 min warm-up really warms you up.

Week 1 Day 7 in the can!! Woo Hoo. Finished up with a whopping 60 minute bike and the 15 minute ab video. I never would have imagined that when I started sparking again that I would be able to do an hour on the bike already! On to week 2!!

W1D3 It was freezing out when I went for my walk so I only did 20 minutes but I got it in! My scale is dead (it said I was 110 lbs....hahaha...when I was 17!) so I don't know it I've dropped anymore weight so I'll concentrate on feeling good instead!

I did 30 minutes walking and the day 2 video. So happy to be back exercising. I'm having circulation and other pre diabetes issues, so I'm hoping to halt that progression with a healthier lifestyle. Not to mention weight loss! Although I don't like to call it weight loss because I don't want to find it again...lol

W1D3: So happy I have my treadmill back. 45 minutes interval training did the arm video and I'm also doing a plank torture (I mean challenge). I really like interval training. I see faster boosts in fitness and I love it.

Wk 3; Day 1: I ate my veggies today including a wonderful dinner of Italian Herb Chicken Breast sauted in Garlic Butter. I cut the chicken into bite size pieces & incoperated them into my leafy greens salad, drizzled with Italian dressing...only about 2 tbls worth. I'm very happy!

i just finished my day four exercises. I could feel a little good feeling on my sides when I did the exercises. I am hopng that the day 4 exercises helps me with my waist and hips as well as my weight loss.

Lol I just started day one. I did my first video and thank goodness it's early morning and the curtains are closed!!! I feel like I flailed about for all 9 minutes! At one point I had myself tied up in a knot that I wasn't sure I'd get out of! Out of breath and a fit of laughter....what a great way to start the day. I'm sure (*twinkle) next time will be smoother...it all about practice after all..

I gained a kilo on vacation, going up to 71.1 kilos, and, a week later, I sm down to 69.3 kilos! I rock! And I went shopping for healthier food...and I am actually eating it.

I got way behind and restarted on Day1 Week 1 today. It's my 3rd time doing the 8 minute cardio video and it's getting a little easier, but my heart is still pounding by the end!

Started late: but will complete the challenge anyway. I did the toning videos, tracked my food everyday and did cardio 5 days. I lost 3 lbs. The key for me is be aware of how much I am eating. emoticon emoticon

I did the workouts daily, unable to complete video but did all I could do. Major goal to be able to do workout without injury or aggravating injuries to back, knees and legs. I am not going to quit but may have to do the challenge many times to complete it. Did feel better for having tried to do them. Had a sense of accomplishment for doing what I did.

I love the videos. It helps me to watch the whole thing first and then do it. I am not surprised and scrambling. Some of the exercises are hard, I just do the best I can. I try to do them first thing in the morning. It's a nice way to start the day.

I did day 4 of week 1 of the January Jumpstart Challenge and a 20 minute walking video. I am also proud of myself because I did it before work today. It is hard for me to get up in the morning so it was a big deal that I got up and exercised before work. It felt good to have my exercise done for the day.

SUGARJESS, we all have that from time to time, especially this time of year. I learned early on in my life as a mom, that motivation or lack of were excuses to do or not to do the task at hand. I didn't feel like doing dishes or laundry, but I just stopped thinking about it, and just tackled the task at hand, and most of the time I felt like doing more, some times not, but I always felt better. Many days I did not feel like being a stay at home mom with little ones at home, I put on a smile and did the "fake it till you make it" technique, sooner or later I felt better and I was no longer faking it.

That saying, just show up and do 10 minutes, really does work, no matter what the task at hand is. Right now I have a pile of laundry on my bed, another in the dryer, I need to do some quick 10 minutes of maintenance to my washer to do another load, I need to go over Algebra with my daughter, then start dinner, oh and feed the chickens. I'll do little bits at a time, and it will get done, if not it will be waiting for me in the morning (that alone usually motivates me). My point is, just do your 10-15, SP makes it so easy for us, even if you don't feel like it, do it then track it, it's as good as checking it off a list. The only way over that hurdle is to jump over it, or knock it down and kick it-teehee. I hope I may have given you just a bit of a lift, and maybe some advice that works. Feel free to friend me if you like, my Spark time can be hit or miss at times, but hey that's life, it happens. Keep us posted!

emoticon Week 1....DONE!!!!! Along with a P90X3 upper body and a killer ab workout.
I wish sparkpeople had a better way of tracking the different workout options for P90X3. I have no idea how many calories I burned during P90 or the ab workout we did. :(

My goal is to be consistent and to utilize different exercise routines so that my activities are well-rounded. I tend to jump from one thing to the next very quickly and can easily pass right over my exercise plans. I need to be sure to make specific "activity" a priority.

goals-be consistent, don't give up and exercise no matter what the weather is :)
Ok it is really hard to do any type of exercise on the weekend's. Saturday's are always out and about going to horse shows and/or just trial riding. Sunday's day of rest and spent doing something with the kiddo's. Hmmm, I need to think of a way to incorporate exercise into the weekends.

I'm behind. I will have to catch up today by doing yesterday and todays video. I'm hoping to get those in as I will be starting (again) a P90X/Insanity/T25/Tapout...etc. class today. Will be doing that 3 days a week (Mon, Tues, and Thurs.) I'm excited about going back to that class and I hope I can keep up with this challenge too! Oh yeah, I'm also up a pound for the week.
:( I have GOT to do better on my calorie intake. I don't really know why that's being such an issue for me this go around. BUT, I know I can do it. Just have to work a little bit harder.
