Hi, Lisa. Not much going on here, nobody posting. I finally found the Great Love of my Life and am moving my stuff into her house in Knoxville. Probably dropping a few pounds but I won't know until my scale gets here.

Hi, there you are. Yep, it's me again, late as always but here nonetheless :)

Shoveled 11" snow, drifts are 60" out here (ys I have pics) for two hrs yesterday. We got a few more inches overnight so will be out again this morning. The plows have yet to make it to our street, more shoveling.
I'm blessed that I'm fit enough now that I can shovel, before my Spark People journey I could not. Blessed to still have power.

Weight is going up some, still has not broken 235... was hoping to keep it under 230, but I have to remember that 18 months ago 235 would have been low.

Got a lot of exercise and weight lifting in over the weekend, which I spent in Atlanta. Got 65 points for last week, 8 of that in bonus points.

So how are we doing this week? I got 37 points, which is 37 points more than last week (when there was nobody to compete with). I also got my inversion table out of drydock, and spent the weekend at an all-music SF/Fantasy convention in Atlanta.

The Support Points only count for this Team (Pagan Place), not "all my boards", but don't forget to give yourself a point for posting your update, as you just did. I don't know how 15 minutes exercise adds up to 3 points. (Strength points on are number of reps, cardio points are 1 per 10 minutes with a minimum of 30 minutes required.) But it sounds like you're getting the hang of it...

Ok... lets see... I lost one pound so that is 10 points... I have one post and a huddle at least in all my boards(5) so that is 10 more... I did 15 of exersize both yesterday and today so that is 3 points...I didn't get all 8 cups of water yesterday so no points.. for a total of 23 which is more that 15 so I get to add my spin today of 7 for 30... right?

Well, the SparkWheel sure wants me to get off my ass and do something. Today is the second day in a row I've spun a 25. Can't count it if I don't do 15 points worth of work... How is everyone else doing?

For example, my previous low weight was 210 pounds and my morning weighing says 209.4, I score 6 Weight Points. I do 40 minutes of cardio on my treadmill, that's 4 points. I do 8 sets of strength work. That adds up to 18 points. Add 1 for my water, 2 for posts I've made today, and, since it is over 15 points, I can add my 7 point bonus spin. That's 22 points for today.

Any posts to this string count as a Support Point, so long as you either post your own points (which encourage others to participate) or comment on someone else's post.

Each day you post, post your daily points (or your points from yesterday) AND your total points for the week. The week runs Monday through Sunday. If there are sufficient posts for me to consider, winners (and maybe all participants) will get a SparkGoodie from me.

Let's go! You can use this week to get used to the system, and we start counting next Monday.

OK, I'm starting Weekly Challenges, beginning next Monday. Go to the Challenge & Motivation Forums and post to the Weekly Challenge group.

Participants will give themselves points for:
Weight loss - 10 points per pound lost (from your previous low weight in the past 3 months).
Strength work - 1 point for every 10 reps with any weights, any strength exercise, up to 12 points per day
Cardio work - 1 point for every 10 minutes of cardio exercise (bike, walking, treadmill, etc.) up to 12 points per day
Support - 1 point for each SparkMail or Forum post supporting another member's work or attitude, maximum 5 per day
Water - 1 point if you drank at least 8 glasses of water today

Any day where your total points add up to 15 or more, add to your total your Login Bonus Spin points.

SparkGoodies will be given to weekly winner(s).
