I've lost almost 14 pounds during this Challenge and just might be in the 220s by the end of the week. If not, that gives me goals for the next Challenge.

I really detest the graph SP gives us in the weight loss -- that little line that says where we SHOULD be. I wish they would allow us to celebrate our successes, not be told we could have done better.

We wrap up this Challenge next Tuesday. Hope you're all doing well in meeting your goals.

LOL Sorry about that. I try to playtest my spreadsheets, but there's usually a gltch somewhere.

BTW, I haven't kept up as well as I'd hoped, but my points are 330 right now and my weight is down to 232! Hoping to hit less than 230 soon.

The last few Challenges have been very sparsely attended, and I'm usually the only one to finish. But I'm a glutton for punishment, that's how I got this job. I'll put together a spreadsheet for the next one.

Historically, we have had Challenges run for two Sabbats -- the next one would be Leaner/Lighter/some-L-word-or-other for Lammas or Lughnassad or whatever. Do we want to do this again, or should we cut back and do only one Sabbat at a time?

There is only like a week and a half left to this challenge, but i really need some motivation. Is there going to be a new challenge after the 1st? Like, Skinny by the Solstice? or something? Lol My boyfriend and I are really starting to get back into being healthy, we have had some health issues that caused us to not be able to exercise for awhile, but we both need some more motivation. I will join this one even though there isnt much time left and would like to sign up for the next one. Lets hope theres more people around next time.

My scale pulled an April Fool's joke on me, reading 236.2 when I stepped on it and 236.4 when I went for a recheck. I was 241 just yesterday, don't think I can lose 5 pounds in one day. Even so, the joke is on the scale, I still get to CLAIM MY WEIGHT POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had another person ask about the Challenge, but must have been uninterested when I told him of the current participation level. :-(

I tapered off a lot this week. I'd love to say it was in reaction to the fact that nobody else is posting, but the reality is that my girlfriend, who just moved in last week, is in crisis and I'm spending all my efforts to keep her safe.

I did get a new low, at 240.5... still need to break the 240 barrier again. But it only netted me the 5 points for losing a half-pound, which takes me to 178 points total.

Kewl, I sent out two more spreadsheets today. Now we can get a real Challenge going.

I just crossed 100 points. In some former Challenges, I could do 100 or more points in a week. So you newcomers are not that far behind.

Awards will be given out at the end of the Challenge.

I got off to a slow start, largely because of a lack of competition. I did get 40 minutes of cardio in.

I don't know why the spreadsheet is set for Monday... it was supposed to be Sunday... but whatever, no use changing it now.

I have 4 points. I already have 11 points for next week... lost a pound, that's the easy way LOL. I totally wasted a 20-point bonus spin last week.

LOL, No there is no "Join" button. But you might want to get the spreadsheet from me so you can track your points.

The way it works is:
You get 10 points for each pound you lose from the start of the Challenge. (No, if you gain it back, you can't get points for losing it again.)
You get 1 point for each 10 reps of strength training.
You get 1 point for each 10 minutes of cardio work.
You get one point for each encouraging word you give another Team member (Note: not limited to Challenge members).
And, if your other points for the day add up to 15 or more, you can count your Login Bonus Spin points (up to 25; SparkGoodie Points spins count as 25).

Wow, 3 days left in the Compact By Candlemas Challenge. While I haven't exactly rocked it this time around, I have lost all of my Winter Weight (just got 10 points this morning, down to 241), now it's time to get serious and get down to Summer Weight.
