OK, this Challenge is officially over. Please get your totals in as soon as possible.

At this time, nobody is signed up for the next Challenge, Buff By Beltane. :-(

My totals are:

Challenge totals 169

In the success category, I held my weight pretty stable through the holidays; last year I zoomed up to 272. I need to work more on cardio, and probably didn't take all the support points I could have. Now that we have warmer weather ahead, I expect to get more walking in.

Wow, 3 days left in this Challenge. While I haven't exactly rocked it this time around, I have lost all of my Winter Weight, now it's time to get serious and get down to Summer Weight.

Please join me in leaping from Crossquarter to Crossquarter, for Buff By Beltaine 2012. Spreadsheets are available -- and this time I didn't make them up brand new, so they'll work, LOL.

Right now I have about 167 points in the Compact By Candlemas challenge, probably trailing a couple of you. Everyone get your point totals in and, in a few days, I'll issue the awards.

This kind of challenge can be good in a number of ways. It can motivate you to keep doing what you're doing, challenge you to start good habits, or inform you that you're not doing the work yet. Unfortunately, this Challenge has done the latter for me... I'm still not making good habits.

As of this past Sunday, my Challenge Total is 150.

I guess I'll just have to keep running Challenges here until I get it right, LOL. Hope everyone is enjoying the Challenge.

I've been bad. Not remembering to tote up my points. Guess I've got too much on my mind right now. I do mostly weights at gym, though, at least twice a week, 6 different things each time, 3 sets each of 10 reps, so I see what you mean about racking up the points (18).

oh well...get it together now, right?

I continue to wail that we don't pick up those weights, even though the points for weight work appears to be very overbalanced compared to cardio work. (You could get your whole 18 points of weight work in within 10 or 15 minutes of varied exercises.) Still nobody picks them up. I'm wailing about myself -- I have wasted a 20 and 10 point Bonus Points day by not doing so.

Can anyone explain why we are so resistant to taking charge of our health? I'm just cruising along, as you can read in my blogs. I should be motivated to take over, to make myself healthy. Comments are welcome.

My total is 139 now. My high weight this Winter has been 247, my low 242, and my current 244. I wasted a 20-point bonus spin last week... got a 10-pointer today to try to collect.

OK, there is an error in the spreadsheet. My last week total was 61, my this week total is 60, and the spreadsheet says my Challenge Total is 94. That's wrong. The formula reads "=sum(o12,o19)". It SHOULD read "=sum(p12,o19)". In other words, it is adding only Last Week and This Week, not Challenge Total from last week and This week. This formula needs to be changed all down the line... just go into the P column and change the FIRST value (of each formula, or change one and copy it to the others) to P instead of O.

So Sorry.

The Bonus Spin is your Login Bonus that you get to spin every day. You count it only when you have 15 or more points total in your other categories. What I usually do is spin, plug the number into my spreadsheet, and then delete it if I did not make my "nut".

You only need to report your Challenge Totals weekly, usually on or after Sunday.

OK, everyone who wants in on this Challenge, it starts Thursday and runs to Feb 2 (Imbolc./Oimelg/Candlemas/whatever you wanna call it). Write me at zaivalananda@gmail.com for the new spreadsheet or just keep your points yourself.

10 points for each pound lost (from what you weigh on Dec 22). 1 point for each 10 minutes of cardio (max 18), 1 point for each 10 reps of strength work (max 18), 1 point (honor system) for each message you send another Team Member to support them in reaching their goals, and if your daily total is 15 or more, you can also count your daily Login Bonus Spin points (SparkGoodie Points and other special spins count as 20 points).
