Well, your body needs EPA and DHA. It can make EPA from DHA or ALA. GNC Stores sell a DHA product from some kind of kelp or seaweed, and there are lots of vegetable oils with ALA, such as flax seed and hemp seed. I would go for the DHA product first, your body has a lot more work to do to convert ALA to EPA (than top convert DHA to EPA), as ALA is a short-chain Omega-3 and the others are long-chain.
It is common that people on strict diets are not getting some nutritional element their body needs. Our bodies are usually good at adapting, but sometimes you just have to make a dietary exception.
I overcame my spiritual obesity, now for the physical!
don't worry your not rambling or going on but if i could take fish oil i would but my body has determined it as an animal protien so it won't accept it. is there another thing you could suggest that is more vegan for my body that would be accepted???
I hope you feel better soon. If I were you I wouldn't beat yourself up because you weren't able to eat or exercise the last few days. They are in the past and can't be redone. All you can do is learn from it and get back on track. The best on your journey to a healthier you. Remember that that journey is made one step at a time and sometimes those steps might be a lot smaller than we want them to be. Brightest blessings and warm hugs.
the last 3 days have been horrible for me. I have been slacking because of women problems and they seem to be getting worse for me. The doc said that i may be going through menopause....who knows maybe i am but it is really fustrating because i haven't been able to eat or exercise. I feel really bad for not being able to do the exercise part. I've been so tired and wiped out. Going to try to get back to normal today because i am feeling like i got a bit more energy
