Hello all and Merry Meet I am CMTBekki - and have been following for some time. I have no page, I have no idea how to get a page !! (that weight thing at the bottom looks like quite the motivator !! I'm truly sticking to this health thing this time --
I need some help as to the computer part. I'd love to join the challenge - here's my stats
Last week Monday ( 1-25) - I again, began in earnest. I weighed 209 - today, I weigh 202. I do 45 mins of weight/ strength training on Mon, Wed,and Fridays -( each day uppung reps and/or weight.) I do 30 mins of cardio Tues and Thurs. ( each day upping incline and speed ( I even RAN for a minute today ! )
Anyway, what I'm asking for is what do I do with this info? I'm using nutrition and fitness tracker under MY TOOLS.
help me figger all this out please !!!!!

You guys are doing awesome!! I am so proud of you all :) I am spreading myself too thin these days, both outside the compter and online. I am SO greatful to Zaivala for running the challenges for this team - isn't he great!!
I wanted to let you all know that I am going to sit this the next challenge out "officially" since I have been joining and then losing steam the last few challenges. I'm going to try and get my head on straight and de-stress... then hopefully I can be rarin to go when you finish the Beltane challenge and I can kick your butts in the next one...LOL!!

I was VERY sick yesterday (as in, spewing in Barnes & Noble). But at least I got something good out of it -- my weight this morning was a new low, 240.5. May or may not maintain it, but I'll get there healthily soon. Oh, and it's not a bug, I'm ok, just got talked into taking a supplement that was not good for me.

Thank you, Kyrrdis. And I definitely hear you. My support points have come from trying to keep up welcoming new people to the Team, and I almost ran out of SparkPoints doing that as we're growing so quickly. I rarely break 15 points myself... although sometimes get to 14... and as stated, this time of year not only included Thanksgiving, Christmas/Yule, and New Year's but also my birthday, so I am VERY happy to have mostly maintained my Samhain weight.

Hmph. The nerve of some people. You've lost 132 pounds, and you're griping about the last 12. LOL
On the plus side (not a fat joke) I seem to be dropping again, and was my low of 242 again this morning. No new weight points, but hope again is springing as Spring approaches. I'll post my points in the "morning".
I have been not yet succeeding at my New Years' Resolutions, but it is not a matter of fail once, fail forever for me and I'll just keep trying. I've done my weight work last Saturday and this Saturday, which is two more times than I did it last month and there's still lots of January to go... I pledged 3 days per week, but 1 is better than 0 -- and the 2 or 3 times I do it next week will be better than that.

Sorry I haven't been around much. Life has just been in the way and I haven't had alot of online time. And my scale shows the stress because I'm back up to 305! UGH My highest weight since shortly after I joined SP 4 years ago.

My New Year's Resolution is to start doing a minimum of 13 pts of cardio and 10 pts of strength work AT HOME per week. So far I've been doing all my work when out and about. Hopefully in a month or three I can exceed those levels, but I've got to train myself to get in the habit.
I generally keep my promises to myself... so far I've been saying these as what I wish were doing, which is an entirely different thing.

I also discovered there is still a slight glitch in the spreadsheet, as this week's totals were on Friday instead of Saturday. If you move them, make sure you fill in the correct cell names and make sure you fix next week's Challenge Total to reflect the move. Needless to say, that's one more glitch that won't be in next Challenge's spreadsheet.

Back still messed up, my hip went out the other day and still hurts, and I woke this morning with my ankle (same side as hip) feeling twisted... Ow.
The good news is, my high weight was apparently artificial... blame the scale... I weighed myself 3 times this morning and could not believe two of them, the high weight was 245.5. So I'm still less than 4 pounds above my low.

Yes, that must be a real challenge... B-day during the holidays. Avoiding gaining weight must be even harder!
I'm back up to 250 today, but that is temporary... between the big Thanksgiving dinner and leftovers, and all the birthday lunches and dinners I keep getting taken to... but jmy birthday is now over, and I have a couple weeks to recover before Yule...
I'll post my stats later, they're on my desktop... back still hurting me, so I'm on my netbook in my recliner.

I started the week strong, then had to start preparing for Thanksgiving at my house -- and was rewarded by having my back go into spasm, from which I have yet to recover. I will try to be better about posting my log weekly. Am down two pounds, don't know if I can do it, but if I can somehow loose 1 1/2 pounds a week for 5 weeks I can meet my goal weight by my birthday. It seems almost overwhelming, especially during the holidays.

Ack... very bad first week... except for that pound I lost... lol
The constant downward movement in my weight took a rest this week after a new low on Monday. I think I can attribute it to the fact that I was eating out more than at home, participating in a fundraiser for Asheville Homeless Network which was taking place at the local Mall. Still, nothing catastrophic.

I would love to do this but I have a hard enough time just keeping up with logging my food, exercise and stats. I know what I'm doing is working because I've been loosing steadily. The holidays don't worry me as I ususally loose weight during them anyway. I like to cook ( and do that a lot) but I'm so tired of looking at it, smelling it and working with it, I don't want to eat it. I leave that to others. *grins*

Thank-you for asking Jewitch... i'm always confused anymore it seems. Moss thank-you for the challenge through the holidays!! They really do help me in being more accountable. I'll try to post more regularly... i keep track well, just forget to post it (back to the confused thing). Holidays are always harder for me as I have a birthday AND anniversary during the same time frame. Can you say PARTEA! It's soo hard for me to be good sometimes, uh most times. May I please have a new spreadsheet? I think I somehow managed to contaminate/screw up my other one and don't know how to fix it.

Moss, I am confused (but that is a natural state for me most of the time) on the log in points I only count them if I spin and get more than 15? So if I spin and get 2 I don't count it, but if I spin and get 20 I count all of the points. What happens in I get 100 Goodies which means II will also get 3 SP points do I count those?

OK, new Challenge. ALmost the same as last time... same limitations... and the change I suggested for counting the login points.
Give yourself: 10 pts for each lb you lose 1 pt for every 8 reps of a Strength Training exercise - up to 160 reps or 20 pts/day (remember if you do this daily, to do a different set of muscles every other day so you don't over-train, muscle is built on your "rest" day) 1 pt for every 10 minutes of cardio up to 180 min or 18 pts/day 1 pt for every Pagan Place team member you support - max of 10/day Count your daily Login points (the spin you can do every time you log in to the site) any day in which you exceed 15 total points
But, above all, think. Try to find some new, effective thing you have not done or not fully implemented, and implement it. This will be especially difficult as this Challenge period includes Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years... times when we usually eat and eat... so be mindful. It is in our basic wiring to store up fat for the Winter, but most of us have adequate reserves already and hibernation is not likely to be a possibility for many of us...
