I have the Baseline bums picnic the same day as Siclovia. I will try and walk early at 10am, visit at 11 and then leave, but no eating! Maybe a fruit! Cuz the bums will have an ton of food!

Does anyone want to meet and walk about 10 am?

There are few events I enjoy more than Siclovia. I'm attempting to heal the muscle I pulled in my right leg enough to attend, but may have to forgo it this time around. I'll be posting more details about Siclovia later today.

Once again I will not be able to swing it. I cant pout this time though. LOL I will be down at the coast attending the annual TX Geocaching Event & celebrating my upcoming 50th Birthday. I will def be racking up the exercise! Maybe next year. Have a great time.

I am going to come. My grandaughter and i rode our bikes from Mac Alister park almost to downtown to go to the last event on Broadway we didn't leave early enough and got a ride home We rode the trails to the back of The Army Hospital then wound around to Gradys had a healthy lunch.

This sounds like so much fun! We will try to make it to this one. We are moving earlier than we previously thought (next weekend, in fact!) so we will be all settled in by then. I'm putting it on my calendar!

It's official. We will have a San Antonio Spark Team Meet up at Siclovia on Sunday, April 7th at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are welcome to join in!

Everyone will meet up at the Lion Statue in Lion's Field Park at 11:00. Bring a sandwich, bring a meal, bring drinks, snacks, whatever you want for a picnic lunch and we will all eat together sometime between noon and 1:00 pm. There are very few places to get food, so bringing your own is advised.

What is Siclovia? It's an event for the entire family. Several miles of Broadway from just past Alamo Heights near Brackenridge Park all the way to downtown is closed to motor vehicles. You can walk, run, or ride a bike, skate, or skateboard your way down the street in complete safety. There are tents with bike repair, rescue dog adoption, sporting goods and exercise equipment, exercise classes, karate classes, fun stuff for the kiddos, dancing, music, you name it..if it is healthy fun, Siclovia has it!
