I've never even thought about it but I have a routine for everything to get through the day. Weekends throw me because I have a to-do list but it sometimes does or dosn't happen as the 'need' to be on time is gone. I never noticed how 'routine' I was until I realised taking time off work destroys my peace of mind as everything is out of routine!

I’m a planner… from my days as an Admin Asst. Every week, on Sunday, I print out my “To Do List”. I prefer doing housework during the week so weekends are devoted to family time when hubby is off from work. My list is not cemented instead flexible so I don’t stress out when reaching goals.

I use a mental priority list. Did not use to do this and was messing up things that "needed" to be done first Our Sundays are family days, too. Sat and Sun are usually reserved for the "extra" things we don't get done in the week and church. M thru F are flexible because of sometimes needing to help out with the GK. Like, tomorrow. My youngest GD needs to be with me for a while after lunch to almost dinner. She is absolutely no problem, even though she always seems hungry! emoticon .

How many of us plan our days and/or weeks. I find I do a lot of planning in trying to organize myself. Some are good, others I am ok with a few days then have trouble following through. Maybe I don't allow for a bit of flexibility. Of course there are the usual, like work 5 days a week, Tuesday evening - visit Mum, Sundays - family day. How do you manage your commitments during the week?
