Another, sweeter treat, is a few (let's call it 6) fuji apples, and a large piece of ginger. I prefer this drink when I get home from work, at which point I am usually exhausted and cranky. The sugar is higher than many of us want, but we share this treat once a week or so and it is divine!

Mmmm, I love all the recipes! I'm very simple... I shop at a large local farmer's market in Houston, Canino's, which is open 7 days a week. Their prices are some of the best for produce, so I'm able to stock up on a lot, and always know what I'm going in for. My husband and I experimented a lot with juices and found one we like... the measurements are very assumed, but you have plenty of room for customization! We usually make this at night, add chia seeds, fill our mason jars to the top. I cover this with a piece of plastic wrap pressed firmly against the foam to try and reduce oxidization. When I head out for work the next day, I take off the plastic wrap, stir up the mix, and drink on the way to work. Makes roughly 5 cups.

4+ leaves kale
1 handful spinach
1 handful parsley
1 handful cilantro
1 large carrot
1 large beet
2-4 stalks celery
1 green bell pepper
1 large cucumber
1 large zucchini
1 regular lime
1 green apple
1 small bunch green grapes
1 hefty piece of ginger

It's a little sweet, a little spicy, and incredibly rich! Best yet, only a few tweaks gives you a completely different flavor, so I can use the same ingredients almost every time and not get bored with "the same old" juice.
