249.5 lbs. Up 2 lbs since Sunday - despite all the exercise and keeping on track with nutrition. emoticon

I am losing weight for health reasons. hopeful to at least cut my blood pressure meds down. doctor switched my meds & news ones made me sick. dizzy,lite headed.sick to my stomach, felt like I had the flu. all side affects of new meds.Did not eat for 4 days.Quit taking them2 meds & been losing weight since Jan. 6, 2013. Went from size 20 to 16 womens. I am feeling GREAT. I am a work in progress. Hope to get down to 150 lbs.

Okay, you have gained some weight back. Think, think about what really matters. A few pounds? No. Not really. Connect with your God. (Mine too) And start over. I know we feel fat. (and I know that's a "bad" word) . But we are blessed in many ways. For me it's my husband, children and grand babies. I want to be healthy for them. So, one day at a time, I TRY. I BREATHE. And just try. Not easy. Yuck celery and carrots all cut up and prepped in the fridge. I can hardly get a couple of fruits down in of a day. But i need to keep going. Thanks for joining me on the journey.

A year and a half ago I was at 157 - the lowest I've been in my adult life. I was excited as I was 27 pounds from my goal weight. Well, my weight has creeped back on as well. I am totally an emotional eater. I am also battling peri-menopause along with fibromyalgia. My husband travels a lot, so I found myself sitting at night, after I put the kids in bed, and eat to comfort myself - in front of the television - ugh! Anyway, I realized that I need to trust in God not food. I need to pray when I am struggling and trust God for strength and grace in the tough times. I am back on and don't want to gain it back EVER! I know I am going to have to start slow since I am experiencing a lot of pain, but slow is better than not starting at all. I just want my energy back and my life. Did my first workout of 2013 today - YEA!

Good luck. My weight has creeped up slowly for the past year and I'm heavier than I've ever been. I'm battling peri-menopause and went from being very active to no drive at all. I was doing weight watchers and just wasting my $. So I'm back with Spark People to see if I can ge a hold on this thing.

starting weight on Wed. Jan 2, 2012 was 146. I don't have a ton to lose, but would like to get back to my goal weight which is 135. I really strayed the last 2 months and it's time to get back on track!
