9 July (1 day late) - 202.4 -> -3.4 - was more conscious of what I was eating this week. Went to the gym (once lol) but was in the pool at least 3 times. Didn't just float, actually did exercise movements :-)

The wedding was pretty good emoticon

My mum tore her achilles tendon a couple months ago and only just yesterday was she able to have semi-normal movement. For her longer days, like when they have to drive out of town and back today, there's a brace she has to wear to keep her foot/ankle from moving too much and rolling.

Oh that's painful! Do you have a date yet for the knee replacement?

I don't even know what sorts of exercises/stretching you'd be able to do emoticon Are you keeping up good nutrition to counteract the lack of movement you're able to do? (sorry if I am asking too many questions...I'm naturally curious, but that doesn't mean you have to answer!)

It is a long, slow process that can be so frustrating when you're on a journey like the one you and I find ourselves traveling together!

Hi, thanks for the welcome and sorry for the late reply,hope you enjoyed the wedding :o)

I am waiting for a replacement knee but they want me to lose weight before they do it, very hard as I can only walk very short distance (matter of yards rather than km) and very painful just standing up on it for very long.

Welcome back!!!

I ended up falling off the wagon after a super-stressful wedding I was in back in September. It was super hard to get back into it and I bit off in small chunks by changing one new thing each week. Then I added exercise back in - it wasn't much: stretching while watching TV, a short walk down the street. I kept increasing each time I did activity.

What sorts of things are you able to do, exercise-wise???

coming back after a long absence and more weight gain :o(

Weigh in yesterday was 3 hours later than usual (9:30am instead of 6:15am). I had breakfast, then a Spin4Kids ride and drank almost 2 litres of water.

Haven't posted in February at all but 2 weeks ago I was up even more and so was my BF% emoticon



25 February - 205.8 -> -4lbs -- have had a concentrated effort on clean eating and started exercising again more regularly
18 February - no weigh in
11 February - 209.8 -> +2lbs from last weigh in for January. A lot of bingeing and late night eating. Wasn't eating clean or healthy.

28 Jan - 207.8 -> +1; body fat % is down even more
21 Jan - 206.8 -> +2lbs

Switching to Saturday weigh-ins because they're more convenient with my schedule.

21 Jan - 206.8 -> +2lbs from last week, I'm sad but trying not to stress too much b/c my body fat percentage is down more than 2% so I know it is muscle.

Finally coming back to weigh in and get serious about getting back to my healthy weight.
I lost 1.8 pounds since August 10th.

At my weight loss goal for this week (-2 lbs). I added 35-40 minutes of cardio a day on my Octane elliptical machine level 6 burning at least 450 calories. I plan to move up to a daily 500 calorie burn next week, perhaps level 7 will help me increase the calorie burn within the same time frame.
