I missed last week so my days are off and decided to post here this week in moving to accountability. I am down a couple of pounds since my last weigh-in so feeling pretty good since I didn't have time to track. My program is now becoming routine and I know what I can eat, when, and how much so even when I don't track I don't need to 'kick' myself anymore or feel guilty.

Today's weight: 130.2

Let's keep sticking with it! emoticon

Down 6 lbs emoticon

Finally, the scale is moving. I've been stuck at the same number since last JUNE!

I've been doing research on lo-carb, and the last few times that I was able to loose weight was with lo-carb. I never feel good when I eat carbs, so I'm giving lo-carb another try.

I'm doing a fat fast, after trying induction for 2 weeks with no results. I feel that my metabolism is really resistant due to lo-fat diets and menopause. I'm only doing 4 days of the fat fast, and I'm on day 3. I was down 6 lbs this morning, and about 1/2 inch on all my measurements. I'm still drinking lots of water and exercising - I run and am using bands right now. Good thing is that hunger is GONE and I'm sleeping through the night. Hot flashes are about half the amount per day (so 8 instead of 16).

259.8 today makes it 10lbs after 2 1/2 weeks. I know the initial loss is sometimes big and it probably won't stay at this pace but I was not expecting this. Figured 10lbs in a month not less than a month.
