We can all do it! One thing to remember and the best way to look at it is: We are not on a diet anymore. I don't care whether the "diet" word is in the title of books or not. You can follow those books plans or a mixture of different books, or weight watchers or whatever their ways of eating etc. like I do.

But it's not a diet we are on it is: A lifestyle. Our Healthy Lifestyle, Your Healthy Lifestyle, My Healthy .lifestyle.

Remember we're not on a diet but living a healthy lifestyle for the long haul from now on. So make it something you know you can stick to forever and are enjoying doing.

Last weeks weight: 195.4
This weeks weight: 194.8

Down almost one pound this week! I also did my monthly measurements today.
I lost half an inch off my waist, hips, and thighs each.
Body fat when from 38.4% to 37.4%
BMI 32.9 to 32.4

For my first month on sparkpeople I would call it a success. I am about 5 1/2 pounds down total. I have certainly learned a lot by trial and error! I am excited for month two since I feel like I am finally starting to get into my own rhythm with it!

I spent a lot of time driving on the weekend, with no pool or bike access (walking is still causing too much pain in my feet) I was worried about gaining. Mother Nature gave a freak spring snowstorm to the area, so I did get a workout by clearing snow. I attended a bridal shower and indulged in a small piece of cake, but somehow still managed to lose a pound.

I did not make my goal to lose 1.5 pounds, and stayed the same. I won't set a goal of weight loss for the upcoming week as we travel to Boston for a few days family vacation and some fun! But I will make a goal to choose as wisely as possible when picking my foods. And there will be some great walks involved, maybe that will help me?

I lost a pound and a half this week and I'm beginning to really notice it on some of my clothes. At work last Friday, I had to use a binder clip to tighten the waist band on my skirt to prevent it from falling off.
Full Disclosure: the skirt was always a bit loose, and the spandex would make it looser during the day, but this time it was 'falling off loose'. emoticon

emoticon 20/4/15 I wiehged in this morning at 57.4 kilos or 126.5 pounds so up a little on last week but I expected this to be the case. emoticon

I'm up about 1/2 pound.
Not terrific, but I was on vacation last week and ate out quite a bit, plus had Easter dinner at my daughter's house, so all in all I don't feel bad about that 1/2 pound. It just makes me focus harder on a loss for my next weigh-in.

This is my first Monday weigh in. I am at 162. My goal is 140 and I have been stuck on this 160 to 163 forever now after losing 45 pounds over the last several years. I have been able to maintain this, so I am not going back up. However, I really want to start moving down into the 150's now. I am hoping this forum is going to help me get unstuck where I have been forever.
