emoticon Lita and Darlene - well done on completing your goals for today!

Bonnie - What a heartbreak! Dogs are part of the family and the loss of one is so very, very painful. I am praying that you get your special friend back. Hugs.

“There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.”

When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world

I wish this challenge was yesterday. emoticon Today I woke up sick. Then I got a phone call from my friend's son, he took my dog when the landlord said I couldn't keep her. She was dognapped. My Sadie is gone. He called the police and I am sure he will get her back but I am broken hearted right now and sick with worry. She is a pure bred and a rare color, My friend paid $1000 for that dog, she is insured but my heart isn't and neither is Jeremy's or Gary's. The police were here asking me questions like I took her. Why would I take her and if I did I could, and I certainly would ask. Jeremy got the license plate of the man. Bring back my Sadie to me. I am just taking care of this cold and praying for my Sadie. I am drinking a lot of fluids, I can't keep food down very well but I am keeping the fluids down so far. So I am having Carnation instant breakfasts and slim fasts. I think it is nerves.

I love SparkPeople

Today is the first day of the rest of my life.

emoticon Lin. You are on a roll. Glad to see you are part of these challenges ... Lita gives us some great ones.

emoticon Full hour workout plus made out my generic menus for the month of January. Now all I need to do is do a detailed one for each day. I also did my detailed menu for today and the weekend.

Well, first thing I took care of just a bit ago was to change the battery in my pedometer. Next to do is find and read the new insurance packet and see how I get membership at YMCA covered. Then next would be arrange to go to the y and get started. As for water, working on it.

Happy Friday to you!!

Today's challenge is to do something to make you feel satisfied:
satisfied with your self that you have spent your time well..

Some examples are:

1-Drink your daily quota of water
2-Do your daily intake of fruits and veggies.
3-Meet you cardio or strength training goal.
4-Stay within your calorie and/or protein range.

You can use one of these or you can make up your own.

Post here to let us know what you did and how you have met your goal.

Have a great Friday!
