Okay! So I know that I put in what I could for the month of September and my total came to 1265/1500 minutes. I didnt make my goal but I am not sad either. I am just motivated to make October the month I do succeed in my 1500! Congrats to PRI6909! She definately met her goal!

OK I think I understand how this works. Since I am new and starting in mid month of Sept. I probably will not make the 1500, but I will try to do at least half of that and make it 750 in the last 2 1/2 weeks of Sept. So here I go. Not sure how to track this yet, but I guess I will figure it out after I get off my butt and do the treadmill walk...lol.

I had a wonderful day of golfing. No cart for me so I am counting all 90 minutes! 45 minutes treadmill yesterday plus 10 minutes strength training. Back on the treadmill tomorrow :)

I am so excited! I am ready for September. (If it would just cool down a bit emoticon ) I really felt a sense of accomplishment on Friday when I past that 1000 minute goal I set for myself. I realize now that I can do this. My goal for September will 1500 minutes. It is kind of scary because I know that "Excuse Monster" will be hangin around but now I am surrounded by my fella sistas and we are all going to have a great month!

I have consistently exercised a minimum of 900 minutes a month for about four years, but all I have done is walk. I am a great walker!!!. But two weeks ago, I began to add in core exercises. Last week I did about five minutes, three times a week. So, to my 900 minutes of walking, I want to add 150 minutes of strength training. I figure that is about ten minutes three times a week. I know if I get too sore, which I will, that I will stop, so here is a baby step for me. Total 1050.

Hey! I see all these wonderful challenges here. I have especially liked the awesome abs challenge and try to achieve that one even though it is sporadic. I challenged myself this month (August) to log in at least 1000 minutes of exercise. I did this because I had put up a goal at the beginning of the year. I have no excuse for not being close to that goal; but I am holding myself accountable for these smaller goals. I have only 53 minutes left for this month and I will have met my goal. It will feel pretty sweet when I get there. I am challenging all who wish to participate in this same challenge for September. Give yourself a number of minutes you want to achieve for the month of September and log in everyday on how you are doing! It certainly has inspired me to get out there. I am going for it!
