As the busy mother of two, I know how easy it is to forget about one's self. Truth be told I'm lucky if I get to shower every day....I do make time to exercise every day, ok well almost, but that's not even for me, it's for my kids (I want to be around for them).
The one thing I do for myself every day is deep breathing exercises first thing... Just five or six slow reps, before anything else. Now I could break down the science of why deep breathing exercises are so good for the body, but I'm going to appeal to the fact that it's a quick, CHEAP, "fix". Some people need their coffee, some their energy 5, others it's that certain cereal. All those things aren't free (I've seen some version of EACH of those things priced for 8 bucks or more).
So my solution in these economically hard times....make some time for yourself and do some deep breathing exercises.... It's cost efficient, invigorates the body, & IT'S GOOD FOR YOU...
