Team Goal: Get outdoors with your kids for at least 30 minutes 2 times per week

This is my first day with this team, but I am excited to get some new ideas! I think this will be a great goal to focus on, since we tend to be so sedentary during the winter months!

Since I don't get home from work till after dark does it count if we get active together indoors?

Team Goal: Read to your kid at least 1 story for at least 10 minutes 1 time per day.

I love reading and so I am going to really focus on this goal. I love books so much and love sharing them with my son! Who also loves story time! And we don't read together enough.

Team Goal: Encourage and praise at least 1 independent activity of your kids at least 1 time per day

I am always try to find new ways to motivate, encourage and praise my kiddos. I found this great site!

Team Goal: Get outdoors with your kids for at least 30 minutes 2 times per week

We don't have busing at our school. And so we ride our bikes (my four year old daughter is learning) to and from school. It is an hour of our day. We have fun and it counts for my time for getting my kids outdoors. I try to do something extra, but it is good to have that for a base on the days that are super busy!

Our weekends are super busy teaching Courtney to ride without training wheels and such, always outdoors doing something!

This one is my favorite. I love to read. I love our library! I love goodreads.com!

We have exhausted Beverly Cleary and Judy Blume books:-) They looooved Charlotte's Web.

My son is in Kindergarten and he is reading for his "bag-a-books"
