Before starting with SP my choice was almost always "regular" food. During my active weight loss I chose "diet" more often than ever before (although I have always tried to avoid artificial sweeteners). Now that I'm down to maintenance I am making more "regular food" choices again, but I have definitely made some permanent changes in how I assess what I eat.
My issues & how I am dealing with them:
-portion sizes of all foods
-fats - I now prefer low fat or fat free
-proteins - I now aim for healthy, low fat versions, and more of them than previously
-desserts - I need to be very cautious in this area - portion control is key!
