Sunny...I am very happy with my pulmonary doctor. I have had him since 2006 when I was diagnosed with COPD. I quit smoking March 7, 1998...24 years ago. The doctor said, it still came back to bite me in the butt though. He said if I was still smoking I may not have made it back in 2006. I got really, really sick back then. I honestly thought I was going to die. My doctor also pushes for me to eat healthy and to exercise.

Cindi,
I will keep you in my prayers. I have a client that has some kind of fluid problem. She is bloated and the water in her body "floats" around. She tells me that sometimes she feels like she is swaying but she really is not. The doctors have no idea what is going on! The fluid actually moves around in her body...it's really strange...I've seen it!

Cindy, I don't know if you know it but I took have COPD, a diagnosis I received in 2006. I quit smoking in 2003 but the damage had been done. Lucky for me my lung doctor is a strong advocate of exercise and a healthy diet. I am so blessed as I actually have not had a change in my pulmonary function numbers for a several years. My first lung doctor was not as good about educating me about what I could do to make my life the best it can be no matter the diagnosis. I found my new doctor about 4 years ago and he has made a world of difference. I am here for you and yes, we have know each other for a while. It is nice to have you join us.

I really do need more strength and stamina...I am so tired. Since, the heart doctor put me on a diuretic I have lost 11 pounds in 1 week.

Our Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you today on behalf of Cindi. Help her to take all of this in slowly working with her doctors to improve the outcome of her health. We know that healthy living/healthy diets can change the progression of some illness so help Cindi to ask the right questions and make the necessary changes to improve her health. Give her the strength to do what she can do today while making a goal to do more as her stamina improves. Give her Your strength and courage to take charge of the situation giving Your the Glory and Praise You deserve. In Your Name and according to Your will for Cindi, I pray, Amen.

Cindy - if your doctors recommend Pulmonary Rehab, do go. It will be the best thing you can do to make a change in the progression of your illness. If you have any questions or just need a shoulder, know I am here for you.

Cindi, I will pray for you. That is such a drastic weight gain is such a short time. My sister has been diagnosed with CHF as well and she is constantly exhausted. I will ask the Lord to give you strength, and to encourage you in your journey to better health. May He make himself known to you in a very personal way, and may He be the source of strength that you so desperately need during this time.

I have been diagnoised with Congestive Heart Failure & COPD. I have been feeling really, really bad and I went to my Family Doctor and he sent me to a Heart Doctor and now I need to see a Lung Doctor.

I have gained 75 pounds in 3 weeks. I was all swelled up. I could not breath, walk, sleep or anything. I was sooooooooo tired!!!!!

They did extensive lab work, an Echocardiagram with contrast and a Drug induced Stress Test with contrast. That made me even more tired.

They have put me on a power full water pill and I have lost 10 pounds in 6 days. I do feel a little better. Thank Goodness!!.

If you have time please, send up some prayers for me.

Good Afternoon. I just wanted to stop by and let you know we got home before noon and the doctor has already called. Rich (DH) has a blockage in the temporal artery so now has to see an Specialist to see if Cortisone treatment will help or if he needs a "stint". We will know more next week.

Another thing as you all know, "when it rains, it sometimes pours". Our oldest Son had a biopsy of his throat today. He is a smoker and it is a huge concern. He is also home and resting. We should have his results early next week. Hopefully this will be the catalyst to motivate him to quit smoking.

Seems like when it rains, it pours. DH is going this morning for an MRI as he has developed a problem with his left eye and doctors wants to make sure he does not have a tumor pressing on this eye. It is life on life's terms and we are more Blessed than Stressed but would appreciate your prayers.

The funeral yesterday was one of celebration. I felt your loving prayers as we gathered together to say goodbye to John as we know him today also knowing that we will see him again some day in Glory.

Joining in with all of you who have requested prayers. DH's Cousin's 41 year old son passed away this afternoon after being in ICU on life support for the past 2 weeks. God has helped me lose 15 pounds so that I can join the Military, I am praying and begging God that I lose the last 4 pounds I need to before Thursday(So I can be in the Safe weight zone) when I take my physical for the Navy so that I can get in.

My husband said that the insurance would not cover the roof because the roof is 30 years old...the original one. It's wear and tear but I will call them in the morning! Thanks for reminding me!

Update..WE WERE NOT ABLE TO GET THE LOAN.

I was pretty upset at first but then I feel that God has something better for us. I will claim that promise of His. He knows that we need a new roof and I'm sure that something will happen. I think that God is teaching my husband and myself a lesson. Yes I'm learning... the hard way.
