Walking is always good...I have to limit mine due to a torn meniscus....Was able to get an hour of yoga today....

Sounds great Randerson. I have come a long way since my last post to this board. Now I walk/jog 3 miles about 3 times a week, and Pilates 1-2 times a week. It was slow working my way up to that though. :)

Already gone for a 30 minute walk this morning and have a 60 minute Kenpo routine to do this afternoon.

I actually accomplish this just by walking my son to and from the bus stop. Not yesterday afternoon though - too rainy. Yes, I'm a fairweather walker most of the time.

My Goals: 10% at a time.

I challenge everyone to get at least 10 minutes of fitness a day.

2 WAYS to get those minutes in and (hopefully) not even notice:

--get up and dance (walk, or some other activity) during commercials. The average commercial break is about 2 minutes, so after about an hour show you will have your minutes in or more!
--I have the Wii and I (and the kids) love to play the fitness games. We dance and do we fit and it doesn't even feel like work :) It's easy to get the time in. My favorite is the dancing.


Any other ideas?
