Started 21 Day Fix Extreme today and didn't hold back (although I can't do anything high impact so I had to step everything out during Plyo Fix Extreme). I still had energy enough to get through Start It Up without missing a rep. Feeling great. My calves are still killing me from bobbling through the Renaissance Festival.

Lost internet access so I wasn't able to share my ongoing progress.

Friday, I did the full Start It Up program but missed a few reps because I have really been overworking my arms this past week. (I looked more closely at what I had been doing and five out of seven days I did something with my arms--triceps and such--so of course my arms were worn out.)

Saturday I had hoped to do more but I only had time for 6-Pack after doing 21 Day Fix Dirty 30. I coughed today and felt my abs. That doesn't happen often so I was pleased.

Today I did Si6 Limber after I completed 21 Day Fix Yoga Fix.

Tomorrow I begin week 2 of Slim in 6 and will start 21 Day Fix Extreme. I'm a little anxious about the latter because I am not supposed to do anything high impact and I'll have to modify even the modifier. But I'm used to modifying so I know I can do it and still get a good workout. I just hope it doesn't max me out and leave me with nothing for Si6.

Tried to 6-Pack and Limber but my disc stalled on Limber about 7 minutes in so I went ahead and switched over to one of the bonus workouts: Thin Thighs. I found it amusing because it reminded me of the old beachbody VHS programs--Great Abs, Great Thighs, Great Buns, Great Stretch--with the "muscle progression."

I also found it interesting because really not a lot has changed. When it comes to working the thighs, we're still squatting and lunging.

Glad I didn't let a faulty disc slow me down.

Did SiU again today and I'm beginning to do better with knowing the routine so I can keep up in spite of the cues, which I don't think are the best. Still, I'll bet I am on point by the end of next week, just in time to switch to the next DVD and try to figure out the next new routine. LOL!

I was able to do all 10 push-ups but really struggled with the 10th. I also switched to a stronger resistance band to see if I'd feel it a bit more. Good call on my part. Definitely felt like the new one gave me the perfect amount of resistance.

Did Si6 6-Pack and Limber today. Those side planks--ugh! But I held it for the 8 count and then did the side plank with rotation for the full 8 reps. The Start It Up workout may not have been very challenging but I definitely felt like I got a workout in my abs today, which is nice!

Started Slim in 6 today. I've decided to alternate the main workout with the bonus (abs/flex) workouts so that I do all 3 every other day. Today I did Start It Up and tomorrow I'll do abs/flex. That will keep me from getting too bored.

I'm also doing this workout concurrently with 21 Day Fix. That will also keep my body from getting too used to one workout.

I was feeling SIU a little in my shoulders and I could only do 7 push-ups. I'll track how many push-ups I can do from week to week. I hope to see progression in my strength. Took my starting measurements and will be doing a weekly weigh-in on Sundays and final inches measurements with before/after pics in 6 weeks.

Still doing the 21 Day Fix. Almost done with the 21 days. I like it. I'm sore on some part of my body everyday, so it must work ;) I haven't been real diligent with the container eating plan. It's easier for me to track my food on SP. Not sure what program I'm going to start next week. Thinking about going back to Slim in 6. Or I may shake it up with some videos from SP. We'll see...

Second week of 21 day fix. The workouts are killer, but they work! I'm not as sore now. I'm actually looking forward to going back and doing more Slim in 6 after this.

I really like it. I am still sore today from Monday's workout (my thighs, rear and upper hamstrings). Yesterday was 'upper fix'. My arms are not really sore. Today I will do 'lower fix' (kinda scared :)) and probably get on the treadmill for a bit to loosen up. I was never sore with Slim in 6. Even though it was really tough, I'm wondering if it's because she did more stretching. I may do Slim n Limber tonight or tomorrow morning.

Yesterday I did my husband's Power90 DVD and the treadmill. Today, I'll get something in. My son made me chocolate chip waffles and turkey bacon for breakfast. I'll have to let that settle first. ;) I'm thinking about doing one of the videos on spark people.

As you can see, I get bored easily with the same workouts. I like to shake it up.

Still struggling with very sore hamstrings. Frustrating! I just did Slim n 6-pack and hope to get on the treadmill later. Heading out to Walmart before we get slammed by another snow storm. It seems to never stop ;) Maybe I'll get more exercise in when we're snowed in.

My hamstrings are killing me!! And my knees hurt sometimes when going up the stairs. I think that HIIT video I did on Saturday was a bit much. I'll probably just do SIU and treadmill today to let it rest. Ugh!

I've discovered Jessica Smith on YouTube ;) I really like her videos. Today I did a HIIT 30 minute one. I just received the "21 Day Fix" by Beach Body in the mail today. My challenge group will be starting that in a week or so (as soon as everyone else receives thiers).

I haven't done Keep It Up either. Is it alot like the Burn It Up or the long Slim Series workouts? I used to have all of the Slim Series but they were SO long!

I don't think I have done Keep It Up...I started the program but the exercises were so long...lol. I might just pick them up back.

I skipped ahead and did Keep it Up today. I was disappointed that there wasn't much in it for abs. I guess I'll have to do Slim in 6 pack with it. I did hop on the treadmill for 30 minutes as well. I'll probably go back to RIU or BIU tomorrow, depending on my night.
