I take my medication 3x/day, spreading it out. I almost always have the empty stomach in the morning, after lunch in the afternoon, and it's anybody's game at night. I went for the consistency of administration (timing) and then I try to keep it under my tongue when I can. Maybe I should keep a short journal notation and see if I notice any energy difference.

I thought I'd inaugurate this new forum by introducing two articles by Mary Shomon.

Mary Shomon is a thyroid patient advocate who has made a career of helping those who suffer from thyroid disease thru Facebook, several books on the subject, and online articles.


From time to time people on our forums have problems with a TSH that is a moving target. This article pinpoints 15 different things that you might be doing, that is causing your TSH to bounce around.

Even if your thyroid numbers are stable, this article is a great review of what you're doing right, so that you keep on doin it!
