Brilliant idea to post health articles in one place for everyone to read.

One of our members, Yigobutterfly, thought we have a forum where we can post links to helpful health articles and general information on thyroid disease.
We liked that idea, so here it is.
A few Guidelines before we get started:
I. COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT
We can't post the article in its entirety without getting permission from the author.
So your choices are:
1. Write to the source and get permission to post the full article and state that at the bottom of the article.....credit the source and provide a link to the full article.
2. Post a few lines from the article with quotemarks at the start and the end of the sentences taken directly from the article.... credit the source and provide a link to the full article,
3. Summarize the main points of the article in your own words.... credit the source, and provide a link to the full article.
Notice ALL THREE OPTIONS provide a credit to the source and a link to the full article.
The "Add a Link" is on the top of the composition screen, its the one between Spell Check and Add An Emoticon. Just copy and paste the addy into the space provided on the screen and away ya go! Instant Hyperlink!
II. Start a new thread for each article you want open to discussion.
III. Be aware that every article you post is not going to get rave reviews, 100% of the time. You may get some opinions that differ with what you've posted. The point is to share.
Keep it fun, keep it informative,,and keep an open mind.
If you have suggestions to add to these guidelines, please Sparkmail me.
Have fun, peeps.
And thanks Jane for the idea!
Never underestimate the value of getting out of your own way.
