Thanks for letting us know how you're doing!
Great idea, to get a little exercise as a pick-me-up. Hope it helps, and you feel better!

3 weeks is great! You've got a few of the most difficult days behind you already, and the more you practice sticking to your plan, the easier it gets over time. Ignore the scale for now and hang in there! (I agree that it's water or muscle gain, maybe a response to hormone fluctuations or salt intake--it could be anything, but I bet you've lost fat over the last 3 weeks.) Please post a follow up to let us know how you're doing tomorrow.

I second that - your body is probably going through several chemical changes with the change in activity and diet. The gain is likely muscle and/or water. Once your body gets used to the new routine, I'll bet that weigh will drop right off. Keep up the great work! emoticon

have gained weight since started exercising/improving my diet. now i'm try to talk myself into keeping up the exercise. any motivational pep talks welcome, i'm feeling down and worried i'll stop trying. i've lasted 3 weeks - longer than since i was in college, don't want to give up.
