My workouts are going great. I switched back to mornings last week (huge adjustment getting up early again) and it has been great. In the evenings I was tired and it was too easy to make excuses. Plus this way, if I do miss a morning workout I can fit it in in the evenings and it isn't so bad.

I am almost done with my second week of Jillian Michaels Body Revolution Phase 1.

I've been adjusting to a new job for a month now so the last 2 weeks my workouts have fallen by the wayside. I did WATP with Leslie Sansone today and want to get in another walk this Saturday and Sunday.

Workouts are good. i am still doing a lot of low impact stuff. i am really enjoying it.I am still not in a habit of doing strength training. i guess because it feels more like work instead of play.
but i am not taking nights off from higher intensity work. i start with low impact and increase from there.

Well even though i have been sticking with low impact routines. i had oral surgery and was told to take it easy untill it healed- but i have to exercise. so i found some walking dvds today i did a short workout that had some jumping jacks. it gelt good to rev up the intensity. i found some new routines so i have no build in excuse busters if i am ever feeling tired or lethargic.

I'm on week 3 now...and am mixing it up with Leslie Sansone's dvds, Walk Away The Pounds. I am enjoying her workouts and the best thing is I can do her low impact aerobics at home.

Today, I worked out to a new Pilates dvd that incorporated light hand weights. I sweated for 30 min. doing my arms, shoulders, waist, legs and buns. Good workout!

Hey all!

I started out with Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds and SP's 10 min Cardio Kickboxing and then I needed a change and I discovered Jessica Smith on Youtube and I have been doing some of her walking based workouts and they are cool but I am still looking for that thing that hits the spot. That workout dvd and/or personality that I get excited about and that I look forward to doing. I have always loved dance so no matter what walking based workout I am going I always funk it up and make it more fun by incorporating some dancing and some silly twerking that works my abs.

This week I just haven't felt like working out at all so I've been doing all sorts of Urban Line Dancing (ie the Wobble and Cleveland Shuffle) and getting lost in the music and working up a sweat and next thing I know I've really worked out, relieved some stress and had some fun, but line dancing is really only fun when there is a group in synchronicity and when someone messes up we can all have a good laugh.

You know that feeling when you have a taste for something but you don't know what it is but once you get it it's like EUREKA!!! Yeah, it's like that with me and the search for the perfect workout for me.

So as the search continues.... I woke up this morning and I started flipping channels and I passed a Shaun T infomercial but then something said "go back" and I said "Nah, because it's just that insanity workout and I aint doin' that." I flipped back anyway and it wasn't Insanity...it was Hip Hop Abs. Now, I am certain that I have watched that infomercial before but it never hit me like it did this morning and without hesitation I ordered it through Amazon so it should be here in a couple of days and I can try it out. I hope that this is the one to help keep my abs motivated to the finish line. Oh please, Oh please, Oh please. Fingers crossed!

Well. i have been trying some new videos and i enjoy pushing myself. i did have a couple low intensity days last week. i did do a more intense worku tsaturday morning and struggled. i dont like waking up and doing a more intense workout. i tend to not be mentally prepared to work hard. however if i do something light or mid intense and short to wake up then i am ready for something more a few hours later.

BY chance, i found some free exercise videos at fitblender.com. They have a lot of variation and i really like th HIIT like a Girl video. i dont like programs that have a really strict regimen, but i look forward to looking through their different videos and tryinf a new challenge.

well the walking doesn't seem to be doing anything by itself, I walked everyday this week, watched what I ate and I'm getting not results from my scale....so guess in the evening I'm going to have to squeeze in some kind of video as well...getting frustrated.

there not....walked on Monday, Tuesday...was pay day had to run errands, Wednesday...we had a meeting after our routes and it was a half day, Thursday...had stomach issues so mad dash back home, Friday...did manage to wash my school bus...not exactly what I had planned to accomplish this week but not a complete waste....

I stayed on the go so plenty of steps were charted, just didn't really feel like I was exercising.

workouts are going pretty well. i can do intense stuff in short bursts and long intensity though. i think the exercise tracker is too high on calories burned. but otherwise i generally look forward to most of my daily workouts. i sometimes dread intenst ab or plyo work but sometimes i get into in and build up a sweat.

I haven't been around in a few months due to lack of motivation so I didn't exercise BUT today was the first day of a whole new workout program for me. I ordered and began "Slim in 6" and worked out to the first dvd this morning. I was catching my breath several times and sweating but felt great afterwards!

I will work very hard to improving my lifestyle and incorporating this new workout program. I am looking forward to seeing the progress!

I like to walk with my husband everyday and lift weight 3 times a week and ride my stationary bike 3 times a week. I'm putting down floor in my master bathroom so that's taking the place of the biking and lifting weights for a few days. emoticon

Still working out religiously 7 days a week - a mix of DVDs, free weights and running outside.

I keep promising myself to do Yoga more often as I feel I've reached an age where I take longer to recover from my intense workouts - but something inside me just craves the adrenalin and endorphin rush I get from a hard cardio session or from lifting heavy, and I don't seem to be able to change things around quite yet!

Maybe it's time to re-evaluate my routine and set aside one day a week for Yoga and stretching. I'm pretty sure my body would appreciate it and come back stronger and raring to go,ready for the next day!

for me I do a hour walk every morning then on Monday I do a hour aerobic class and Tues. & Thur. I do a hour strength training and on Wed. I do a hour step aerobic class I really like that one a lot....when the weather finally changes I'm going to walk outside on this path that's a hour and twenty mins long I love outdoor walks then do the classes after that but I'm doing great actually....Eating is on point so I have no complaint right now....
