Tema, I would be so greatful for your help. Monday, Wednesday and Friday I am supposed to do strength exercises and 15 min of cardio. My doc and nutritionist also want me to add 1 more day when I can. Here is my fitness plan: I am to do each exercise 2x and 12-15 reps.
Alternating Dumbell Biceps Curls
Calf raises with chair
Bicep curls with band but I don't have a band yet so I just use the dumbells
Then for Cardio I do 15 min. in pool doing jumping up and down, tredding water, stuff like that.
My muscles in my neck, shoulders, arms and legs are very, very atrophied. June 2009 I had metal plates and screws put in my neck from C3-C7 and I have no spacing in the rest of my spine all the way down to the tailbone. I have not been able to have any physical therapy since the operation.
Yes, there is plenty of pain but actually I use that as an excuse. I appreciate any help you can give me in holding me accountable for getting these exercises done. I've worked so hard with the nutrition tracker and my meals are now balanced and my blood sugar levels are coming down from an average of 500 to 167. I've lost 4 lbs since August 12th when I started with Sparkpeople. If I could just get the fitness plan going I'd be in less pain and more flexible. Thanks so much for anything you can do to help me.
