You got it, Abner! I've been doing my meditating, deep breathing and saying my mantra of "prayer, love and support". It works wonders for the nerves and especially before bedtime-- clears the head of the negatives of the day! emoticon

I've not tried meditation or yoga yet. But the deep breathing I have! It does calm me down and helps me to focus!

Thank you for reminding me of all those great things.

If I'm at work and stressed to the max, and a walk isn't an option, I just dig into a new project or take a bathroom break. Just something to get my mind away from what's going on at the moment.

Those are great tips. What works for me is having my water handy. In the summer I carry my water with me while doing errands. emoticon

If you start to feel the urge to snack or binge, try the deep breathing exercises of inhaling - hold for count of 10 -- and slowly release the air. It calms the body and also may relieve some of that urge to eat.

Same for meditation -- clear your mind (and, yes, even from eating or snacking) and concentrate on your own body breathing, see if you can feel your mind slow down -- relieve the stress/tension = less snacking. Try it and see if it works for you, and let us know.

And, if you have any added tips on relieving the stress before attacking that food, please share. Thanks!
