Maybe ask one of his friends what he ate for lunch. I found out my daughter wasn't eating lunch. I really would recommend having his coach speak to him and maybe giving him a meal plan.

Thanks for the info. I logged in what he said he ate yesterday to spark teen. Was not nearly enough. I have to keep an eye on his food intake. Which is hard to do when he is at school all day long.

I don't want to alarm you, but watch him. My oldest daughter has always been an athlete, often doing two sports. She plays premiere soccer and does cross country. In the past she also swam. She was diagnosed with an eating disorder earlier this month. She restricts calories and exercises excessively, sometimes 4 hours a day between her sports. We also found out that she would purge.

I'd recommend having him talk to his doctor or coach. Look up what an average athlete consumes in calories to help him realize he needs more. Tell him he can't play at his best level if he isn't fueling his body, putting gas in the car, air in the tires, or whatever saying will help him understand. If you don't see improvement in short amount of time, it may be time to see a dietitian and/or psychologist. Good luck!

How do I convince him to eat more? He is 14 plays football and walks to school. He even wants to walk home. This is great but he doesn't eat enough calories for all the activity he does. He doesn't believe me that he isn't eating enough. Tells me "Well I don't want to get fat." So I was thinking is it possible to use the site in reverse, So he can see how much he should be eating? Or is there a another website out there?
