I measure my dog Kali's food and in winter she exercises on the treadmill if it is too cold to walk outside. She was sausage shaped but now she keeps fit and slim.

Fetch is a great way to get dogs more active! Congratulations for helping Spot get more fit. Now you will both be around for walks many years to come.

I take the rabbits to the park in a stroller. Granted they don't get much exercise, but they get fresh air. For some reason it is so much more fun to walk when I'm not alone.

Good for Cindi (and Houdini!)

My little Spot the Wonder Dog resisted exercise for a long time. He was overweight (so was **I**!) So we walk together outisde and he loves playing FETCH in the afternoon. He brings ME his frisbee!!!

I have a rabbit, Cinderella, that came from a life behind bars. After 4 years at a rescue she had gained far too much weight from being so sedentary (hhhmmm, sound familiar?) Cindi is a mini satin weighing in at 7 pounds! The poor girl couldn't even keep herself clean.

My house rabbits are free roam within a carefully bunny proofed room. This gave Cindi lots of opportunity to stretch her legs. She is bonded to Houdini, who is always in trouble. It's a perfect pairing because he keeps her on the go. A change to limited Oxbow pellets, fresh greens, and unlimited hay also helped. Over the past year she has dropped to 5.5 pounds and is feeling great! Now I play a subdued chase game with her in the evenings so she keeps her weight off.
