Sorry to be commenting so late on your post, but I am happy to hear that you are making progress. It is interesting to think about how many words we throw around on a regular basis, but do not think about in such depth until we are specifically called on to define them.

I have been feeling like I have not been making progress, but today I came across something of interest in an article. My area of interest is in teachers' assessment literacy and assessment practices. This article brought to the forefront of my thoughts how abstract words/terms can be, such as the term "'literacy". I now have the challenge of defining this terrm for my study. This article will be useful in this process.

This is a small but significant step in my dissertation journey.

Thank you for sharing how you are doing. I have not been getting much done at all this past week. It has been very hot here with an air quality problem, which has made my asthma flare up. When my asthma gets bad, it is harder to think clearly, which has made getting anything accomplished difficult.

I've been working on my lit review, at this stage, lots of cutting and pasting quotes before I organize them. I have my water bottle with me, but it is still tempting to much.
