Watch the salt intake, and drink plenty of water. Drinking a lot of water counteracts the water weight. Also track everything that you eat, a little bit calories adds up, and that way you know exactly how many calories you have consumed. Another thing that I have found to be helpful, is if you haven't already - make the switch to whole grain breads and noodles. I have a big issue with limiting my soda. I have been doing pretty good for the last couple weeks however.
