Hi Lauren - I did a round of LiveFit and wanted you to know that I was nervous before I started Phase 3 too:) You can do it!!! Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I would enjoy sprinting or plyo and I LOVE them now. All because of LiveFit. Not saying I look pretty doing them, but hey if they work and it's fun, who cares what ya look like! LOL The workouts are long. There were times when I split the ending cardio up because of the schedule. Also for the active rests with a jump rope I could not do them during the workout because of low ceilings in my home gym. I would do another plyo move or jump on the treadmill and sprint during the actual workout and after everything was done, I would run outside and do some rope work. Felt like a crazy woman and the neighbors probably thought I was:)
You can do it! It is an amazing workout and you get to try some new things you just might love doing after the 12 weeks is over. WOOHOO! I say all of this because I am not actually doing phase 3 now. lol:) There were some days I went ugh, but the sense of accomplishment is amazing. Keep us posted.
Hi Lauren-- I'm on Week 11 and have completed the entire program once before. Yep, weeks 9 and 10 are extremely long. Personally, I liked the extra burn received during HIIT by doing them immediately following the WT, but I'm sure it will still be a good effect if you have to do sprints later-- just make sure you warm up properly before the 2nd workout of the day. Week 11 & 12 are a tad bit shorter. There are some recipes posted in the RECIPE section of our forum here, and lots of great ones on Bodybuilding.com and Spark Recipes (not all spark recipes are lean/clean, but many are). Has anyone started phase 3 yet? I am wondering if people have some good ideas for recipes? Also, on the days where you are required to do sprints, it seems the workouts are EXTREMELY long. Is it ok to do the weight workout in the AM and then do the sprints after work at night?
I am VERY intimidated by Phase 3....anyone in it now? :)
