I wanted to share a little variation I made of Jamie's chocolate protein bars recipe that turned out FABULOUS! I was a little unimpressed by the "chocolatey" flavor (lack-thereof) of Jamie's recipe, so I wanted to take my own spin off it and use up some harvest massive zucchini I had on hand.
I added a bit of extra chocolate and cocoa powder to the recipe, but it's still very low in sugar, calories, and fat. I'm not sure where/how the nutrition stats were calculated on bodybuilding.com for her recipes, but I have no clue how they got 10 g. protein for each bar, because it's closer to 10 g. protein for TWO bars (not one).

Also, I made another variation of her bars using zucchini and banana, no added chocolate. Follow the same basic recipe, but instead of the 8 oz. baby food, use 1 mashed banana and 1/2 cup processed zucchini. I also added vanilla extract, and 1/3 cup chopped walnuts. YUMMM!!!!
