I've made the chocolate ones, too, and honestly, even though I'm a "chocoholic" I prefer her other varieties more than the chocolate protein bars. My favorite so far have been the lemon ones! Next would be carrot, then pumpkin, then chocolate. But they're worth having in the rotation for snacks!

I love the chocolate bars and I change up the babyfood all the time. I love banana, banana/berry, sweet potato, carrots, etc. Her lemon bars are delicious too. I'm addicted and since I bake different flavors every time I haven't gotten burnt out of them. It gives me my baking and sweet tooth fix! You can't beat that!

While I like the pumpkin bars I think it'd be nice to add some variety. I am also wondering if I could replace the blueberry babyfood with blueberries somehow? I'm thinking I will just add pureed blueberries in the same amount.
Edit (and update): I tried making them tonight. I substituted the blueberry babyfood with pureed blueberries and it seemed to work fine. I also completely forgot to add any kind of sweetener (maybe for the better!)
Overall I'd give this a 3.5/5 in comparison to the pumpkin protein bars, which are more savory and filling. Maybe next time I will try it with chocolate protein powder instead of vanilla and add 1/4 cup of Splenda.
