I pulled some muscle or tendon on the top of my left foot so I guess it's a break from the Elliptical for a while.
Tonight I weighed in at 206. I knew I was going to be up because of a couple of days of just going on a feeding frenzy right before bedtime. I sometimes feel like I will never lose the weight I want to because I love to eat so much junk food. This is definitely a mental block for me but I know I can overcome it in the long run.
My weight today is 214.2 lb which is down .6 lb from last week. Wold be down a lot more if I get back into my Exerbeat routine. Will try to get in a routine after work and then go back to doing a 30 minute routine before going to work.
Have definitely started back tracking my foods again as that's been a big plus for me in the past.
205 pounds this morning - 2 pounds lost since last week. Woo-hoo!
I'm actually not using Exerbeat right now - for Christmas, Santa brought me a new game called Gold's Gym Cardio Workout. It has mostly boxing for exercise games/lessons so I thought I would like it since I mainly did the Boxercise in Exerbeat. I'm having a little trouble keeping up with the new exercise format, which is very rhythmic based. So far I'm up to about 20 minutes total of boxing each day. I have also started a streak of using my elliptical trainer for 20 minutes a day. I have been weighing everything that goes into my body and that seems to make all the difference in the world, just being aware of the volume of food I have been eating. So even if I have a piece of fudge late at night before bed, it gets logged. Last night it was Cheeto's Crunchy that got me in trouble with my caloric intake but for now, I'm losing weight, which is my goal.
Hope everyone's year has started out well and we all have strength to reach our goals!
Between my previous post and today, I gained about 6 pounds. So I am at 207 to start the year...I too would like to be down to 200 by March. I'll be working hard at it and sticking to logging my food intake.
I'm down to 196.6 pounds on my way to my goal of 190 by October 9th - my 50th birthday. I'm sure I will make it - I just need to get my calorie intake under control. When I reach 190, it will be interesting to see how much more I can lose before 10/09. I have lost 17.4 pounds since starting at the beginning of the year and ExerBeat has really helped me since starting with it on July 18th, especially with my voracious appetite. Exercising makes up for all the extra calories I take in.
I got my Exerbeat game yesterday and did various exercises for over an hour. Today I went nearly an hour and probably could have done more but I had other things to do. I can see why team members have said it is so addictive. It's all that and more! I love the new activity in my life.
