My Week 1 exercise comprised 300 minutes of walking with my two dogs, something we have all enjoyed, no matter whether the temperatures were high and the sun was shining, or if it was cold and frosty at the time we took our morning walks, even sometimes walked in drizzle.
Think I am beginning to love walking - never thought I'd be able to say that, cos I have osteoarthritis in my feet, knees, hips which has always deterred me before, but walking seemed the least painful form of exercise for me. I never realised just how good it was as a stress reliever either. My dogs really get excited when they see me putting on my walking shoes, which makes it feel more like a game than exersice.
I deserve to be healthy and happy, and no one can do that for me but myself!
