If I am really struggling with thinking about nothing but food, I'll sit down at the computer and start searching for that "perfect" recipes that will satisfy my craving, then plan to buy the ingredients the next day and make it.
Think highly of yourself because the world takes you at your estimate.
One thing I've found really helps me with the evening is to have something to look forward to. I eat ONE Hershey Kiss every night, about 9 pm. I let it melt in my mouth so I really enjoy it. It's a nice, sweet ending to the day. I've been doing this since Labor Day and have yet to have more than just the one, since I know that if that ever happens, I can't do it anymore!
You have been doing this for a while now (or maybe just started) so have you come across that tried and true method of sticking to the healthy habit when faced with temptation?
I think one of my biggest issues has always been night time snacking, and while I haven't conquered the "urge" to snack mindlessly in the evenings, I have cut back, one way is by knitting. If my hands are busy with the needles, I can't nibble too!
So what are your secrets to success?
