I love brown rice, but it takes too long to cook. I hope Minute brown is still a healthy option, because I eat it at least twice a week.

I think my favorite healthy carbs would be a toss-up between lo-sodium V-8 and Wasa fiber crackers. Add some low-fat cheese and they make a mighty fine meal all by themselves!!

I love all carbs...that seems to be my problem!!! emoticon

There are too many types of carbs for me to choose just one...do I choose my favorite grain, my favorite cereal, my favorite fruit or vegetable!!! If there was a bowl of quinoa pilaf, a bowl or high fiber cereal with milk, a nice ripe banana or a bowl of mashed sweet potatoes in front of me which would I choose....or would I choose a really yummy organic oatmeal raisin cookie!!!

I love carbs too too much to choose!!! LOL!!!

Jackie!!!

Thomas' Light Multi-Grain English Muffin. Only 100 calories, toasted and spread with a little peanut butter, Oh Yeah!

Think highly of yourself because the world takes you at your estimate.

I don't know how healthy they are, but I love those FiberOne bars with 9 grams of fiber in them and only 140 calories.

I never really liked "squishy white bread" but really enjoyed Kaiser rolls before. It took a little shopping around but I found my new bread and it is Arnold Natural Health Nut. It's a tasty slice with a firm texture...chewy without overworking the jaw and soft enough to make peanut butter and jelly delightful.

Per slice: 100 cals, 2g fat, 16g carbs. 3g fiber.

Kashi Pilaf - several different varieties. My fav is the Moroccan curry (220 cal per cup, 42g carbs, 7g fiber). Just put in a bowl, sprinkle with a bit of water, and microwave.

The only restrictions any of us have in life are those we place on ourselves.

So we shared some physical activites, now for the food.

Do you have a favorite, go to, healthy Carb? Please share!

Since I'm trying to stick to "clean" foods with fewer ingredients, and whole grains, it's been harder to find things that aren't full of lots of chemicals. Plus I have a salt tooth, and love cruchy things. With all that, I have to say one of my favorites is Triscuits! Only 3 ingredients, crunch and salt. And some fiber to boot...
