50 minutes with Jillian? Impressive!

We did a 2+ hour mountain bike ride yesterday, and I've been doing a lot of packing and moving, so I now have a sore back....but more to do!

I'm back to work today after a week off, so will have to plan to get in a workout!

I have been away too long! But I'm still doing well in maintenance and loving it!

Today I got up and ran/walked 2.94 miles first thing. I plan to get in 30 minutes of Cardio Kickboxing later on... would have done it at lunch if my office computer would have recognized my DVD... meh.

Yesterday was 30 Day Shred Level 1 and a 4 mile walk with my hubby.

Sunday was a 4+ mile walk/run and 30 DS L2.

about 90 minutes of skiing today, 90 minutes Bikram yoga yesterday and Tuesday, and almost an hour trail run on Wednesday...I may take a rest day tomorrow!

Ran an informal 5 K yesterday with my sister and boyfriend...then walked back to meet them for a cool down, so I ended up w/ 4 miles total. Good way to burn off a little Christmas dinner!

Got in another ski on Friday, 12/17, 2 hrs of difficult conditions, for the type of skis I had, but it was so pretty in the falling snow...

Today my foot hurts, so I'm planning on something low impact, maybe my pilates DVD.

Been a long time for this thread again....no workout yesterday, but I did get a good bike ride in on Friday, along with some yoga. Thursday was a short run/walk, and more stretching/yoga. Hope to get out today for something, but it's windy and rainy, so that remains to be seen!

Been sidelined by my ankle/foot problems, but trying to get in some yoga, walking, biking, and even some gym time. Just have to back off when the foot starts to hurt, but hopefully I'm on the mend, and can get back to "normal" soon!

I knew you were on that team, Jackie, but wasn't sure if you were running, virtual running, or just cheering them on, now I see I'll have to cheer you on! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon Run, Jackie Run!

So I've been out of the loop for awhile too...since last posting, I had taken most of the week off of working out, although I did do some yoga. I did some mountain biking on the last two Saturdays in July, some elliptical at the gym, worked out with my trainer the last week of July.

This past week we were on vacation. Didn't get out until Tuesday, and really no workouts until then. Some yoga I think Sunday and Tuesday. Just explored around on Wednesday. Thursday was the attempt at Mt. Hummphrey. I wasn't feeling too hot, so only made it to the base of the ridge. Larry went solo, while I waited (really pretty area, w/ lots of blooming lupine, and brilliant blue skies...) So not a big success for me, but I did get about 6 hrs of hiking in. (around 5 miles is my best guesstimate)

Friday we drove out of the Humphreys/upper Buttermilk area, and back to civilization...where we rented a canoe and paddled around Lake Sabrina for about an hour and a half. That was refreshing and fun.

Saturday (yesterday) we hiked to the top of Mt Dana, right on the eastern border of Yosemite, with views of Mono Lake from the top. About 5 hrs of hiking, just shy of 5 miles.

Hey Gang...

I've been totally out of the loop for a few weeks but my training for Hood to Coast is going well!!!

In 3 weeks from today I will be starting a 2-day 197 mile race relay with 11 other Sparkpeople members!!! We each will be running 3 legs of various distances...mine are 7.42, 4.15 and 5.25 miles or a total of 16.92 miles!!!

Oh...today's workout was a 5 mile run!!!

7/18 trail run and bouldering, was feeling better after the bike incident...then on the way down from the run I turned my ankle on a rock! Now it's 14 shades of black, blue, purple....and swollen from heel to toes...may not be racking up so many fitness minutes for a while!

But I did take the stairs at work a couple of times...should I count that? emoticon emoticon emoticon

I don't know how I'd cope without a kitchen! Good luck Deni.

7/1, backyard strength training/boot camp style workout for 50 minutes, then did a yoga DVD for another 43 mins.

Didn't get to exercise 7/1 due to kitchen renovations interfering. Won't complain since not having a kitchen is a big pain!
