I was a little late getting it going, but I did post a July challenge yesterday, hope you join! Also good job this month! I fell off at the end, only tracked once the last week of June, and I'm changing my goals for the tracking in July, so I've tweaked the challenge a bit, but it's still about tracking, so I hope it works for you.

highest weight ever:202, SP starting weight: 143

New goal: more practical new goal, 129, update ticker to reflect that goal.

I managed to track for several days after getting back from the conference, but the holiday, eh, not so much.

I realize it's the 4th... will there be a new thread for July?

I ended up tracking on Tuesday, and that was it. But my weight has been really good, and I've been eating really well too....so I may just go back to quick tracking and logging my fitness minutes for a while.

which means I may switch up some goals, since I feel like I'm in a zone where I'm just checking off boxes, but not really challenging myself....I'll have to give this some thought!

Yep, staying busy does keep the snacking down, doesn't it?

I did end up tracking Tuesday and Friday last week, will probably do the same this week, so that means tracking tomorrow! And I have a massage scheduled, so I'll be driving in to work instead of walking or biking....so really it's a good day to track!

I have been getting in a lot of low level exercise, but I really would like to get back to some higher intensity (more often than I am with my fitness classes....) but my foot probably needs the rest!

I've been doing good. I tracked for a good portion of last week and I tracked yesterday and today. Saturday was a good day for food even though I got a burger... basically because it was THE meal of the day. Not good, I know, but I had my hair appt at 1:30 and then errands and I just had breakfast before I left. The burger, though, was good; I enjoyed every bite.

So far, staying in range for the most part. If I go over, it's by less than 100 calories. I don't like it, but I figure it could be worse.

Tomorrow, we have a candidate interviewing, so lunch is out. Probably not tracking for me. Then, on Friday I head to a conference, so a good four days without tracking. But, I tend to not snack at all during conferences especially when I'm running around a bit.

That makes sense, I tend to snack a lot all the time....and more, I've noticed, after I go grocery shopping!

I'm tracking today, so far so good!

I don't think I snack less cause of the tracking as I track a lot during the week. I think it's that I have more relaxed mornings, then I eat a brunch type meal in the afternoon and then a light dinner with maybe a little treat for dessert. I think it's the stress at work or sometimes boredom that causes me to snack.

So, I like weekends as I seem to just have more controlled eating.... weird isn't it?

No tracking today and I'm probably a little over, but some days are like that...

Do you normally snack less,or do you snack less because your tracking? I'm not sure if I snack less on the weekend or not, I think it depends on what else is going on, I do tend to be a "boredom" snacker....something I try to stay aware of in the moment!

I'm tracking tomorrow (Tuesday) and then either Thursday or Friday, I think I'll see how I do this week. My weight has been amazingly stable this past week, not sure why, but I did do 3 days of no added sugar foods. I even went to Trader Joe's and did not buy any chocolate or sugar filled food! I usually stock up,since I love a lot of their dark chocolate offerings....but honestly, I still have a full bar of dark Belgian chocolate (and this is a GIANT bar....) so I didn't need any more.

I found a strawberry muffin recipe on Spark People, by chef Meg, I may have to give it a go....it was pretty low sugar too.

Have a great Monday! Keep tracking!

I hope you're feeling better. I battled headaches a couple of days this week. Actually got another scone yesterday (I actually wound up getting the fresh from the oven literally) and think I'm done with them for now. I haven't eaten out in a couple of week, so I think that balances out the scones.

Tracked today, including the scone, and still stayed in range. Will track tomorrow as well. Sometimes it seems easier to track on the weekends... probably cause I snack less.

It can be hard to tell in the moment which is the better choice, I had scones the other day, oh, were they delightful! And you stayed in range! Nice!!!!

I almost blew my tracking on Weds, and the sugar ban was a bust, thanks to my neighbor and a couple of glasses of wine....but I ended up tracking it all yesterday (as best I could) and was still in range. I tracked yesterday too, so got in my 2 days. I had a migraine though, so ended up under my range for calories, but oddly in range for all the macronutrients....it seems like that would not be possible, but it is!

My fitness has been decreased this week too, I guess 3 days of no exercise really adds up to nothing! (but I probably needed the rest....truth be told!)

I wouldn't give up the chocolate in the coffee either. :)

I did track today and am proud because today involved a scone from Panera. But, I stayed within range! So, I'm happy about that, but it also let me know which scone to get from Panera the next time. Still high calorie, but not as bad as today's, though I did really enjoy eating it.

Sometimes we do have to scale back to reality on our goals, and 4 days a week sounds like a good amount to shoot for, and if you can sneak in a bonus every now and again, great!

I'm tracking my nutrition today, now that I'm back home. Had a nice long weekend, and as usual, indulged a bit too much! So my additional goal is to cut back on the sugar, starting today! My only exception is my morning cup of coffee, I have a chocolate mix I put in there, that is my indulgence.....not giving that up! But I can give up the rest of the sweets!

My small group classes start back up this week too, so I'm looking forward to that!

I love this challenge. I'm hoping/planning to track food and exercise. Food at least 4 days a week and all exercise. Ideally, I prefer to exercise 5 days a week, but that's becoming hard, so I'm aiming for 4 days (more would be nice) and will try and do an extended workout on one of the weekend days.

June is here, summer is coming, and here's your chance to maintain your success, or get back to where you want to be, with a maintainer's tracking challenge.

State your tracking goal, food, workouts, both or something else, and then check back regularly to this thread with your progress. We'll cheer you on, or offer support and tips if you're struggling....just come on by for accountability!

My personal goal will be to track my nutrition once or twice a week, depending on what the scale is reading, how stressful my life is (my workplace is transitioning owners this month, and it's been VERY stressful....) and how many workouts I'm getting in.

What will you track?
