Whoops, posted the rest of April over on the March thread.....but it's almost May, so I'm going to start a new challenge!

I think being "active" is helpful, even if it isn't "exercise" in a formal sense....

I tracked yesterday, went way over on calories, carbs and sodium, but this was the first day in quite a while where I met my goals for calcium and iron....interesting, I'm thinking it's actually very difficult to meet calcium and iron goals on the lower calorie levels....I guess that's why I supplement! Anyway, I was doing really well until I got home to a note on the door saying "Jutta is feeding us"....that's our neighbor, so a few glasses of wine and a dinner I really had no clue how to track, and I was over on all that....but still dropped a pound from yesterday. I guess it was the 2 hrs at the gym before hand!

Yay! I sat down and tracked. I've factored in a bit of junk food for the packing craziness and am still in range. Not getting a lot of exercise, unless you count being all over the place.

Ok- since I've only recently met goal, and have maintained for only 6 weeks, I'm not ready to track any less than every day yet. So, I will continue to track every day.

I did OK yesterday, even though I had to "wing it" with the lunch and dinner....(I ended up going out to lunch unexpectedly, but skipped the rice, and the broccoli and shrimp we shared seemed like a good choice) and it's always a bit difficult for me to track Larry's dinners....

At least this morning I'm actually back in my range, so breathing a sigh of relief! And we got out skiing today, total calories burned for the week around 2200.

Ugh. Tomorrow! A friend cooked dinner tonight for me as a going away kind of dinner. She cooks amazing asian dishes. Delish! So, tomorrow, I'm climbing back on the tracking wagon come h*ll or high water.

I hear you, I just got back from 4 days away, and now I'm tracking again, gotta get back down into my comfort zone after all the buffet breakfast and lunch lines.

It's April fools day, but the tracking challenge is no joke!

Make a plan for staying accountable, as we head into Spring, the days are getting longer, and opportunities for getting fitness and good nutrition are expanding!

What is your tracking goal?

I'm sticking to my twice a week nutrition tracking, and getting my regular fitness in.

Starting with this week, my challenge is an out of town work conference, with food provided by the event....so I'm going to switch my usual tracking days from Monday/Thursday to Sunday/Friday this week.
