Sorry I was AWOL for a couple of days. I just looked at the email made a few more tweaks and mailed it back to you with my changes. Do you have time to post it? I wouldn't be able to until late Friday night. I have Windows 8 and for some reason copying and pasting is almost impossible, so I would have to retype the entire thing. Thanks for letting me help with the challenges!

We do work hard and it is a simple house on jut a double lot. Gardening is just my passion.

Several hours working inside and outside today. I counted 120 minutes for Spark. The hubby and I built a faux gate for my Asian Garden. It is basic but I love it. We will hang it in front of a wall of siding that sits in a crucial point of my garden. I just can't stare at siding in such a beautiful garden. LOL

30 minutes today including my first attempt at Jillian's 0 day shred. I did level one and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I had to modify a couple of things and didn't hold out as long as she would have liked me too, but it was doable. I am winded though!!

7 hours of landscaping today and then a short 3 mile bike ride. I am worn out, but I am smiling.

emoticon I saw the cardiologist this week... He didn't say a word about my weight, but he said he would like to see me be more active. (I think that was code for, "You are fat girl!" lol Any hoo, I assured him that after I left there I was headed to Zumba. He looked doubtful. So... my next appointment is in six months. Wouldn't it be cool to drop 35 pounds or so and go in and wow him? I may fail, but I am going to try!

Just relax when you can and don't give into stress eating. It won't help, believe me I have tried it before. lol 1 hour of gardening today. I have lots to do this weekend. I just want to be careful and not re injure my back.

I am a couple of days behind on tracking my exercise. I have completely fallen on my face as far as eating goes, but I am trying to dust off and jump back in. I am now bigger than I have ever been in my entire life and I am not sure why. Obviously I am not eating right, but for 95% of my life I haven't, why am I so big now/ I am more active now than I have been in years so I am a tad confused. Exercise makes you fat?

Great Paul!!!! I sneaked a peek at the scale this morning and wished I hadn't as I have actually gained! urgh!!!!!! But it doesn't matter I am being good to my body by exercising and eating much better than usual. 30 minutes Saturday and 4 plus hours of landscaping Sunday. I still have weeds, but my yard is looking awesome. Hubby and I build a small rock wall in my Asian Garden. It looks amazing to me. Now to design the landscaping of the bed... FUN!!!!

SO far so good on the back with the Zumba. I am adding some back and hip exercises to my routine at night. Hopefully I can strengthen the muscles and heal.

Our Zumba class is taught by some young ladies and it is a lot of Hip Hop music. I LOVE it! Our class has young people, older people, thin people and some very heavy people. We have a few men once in a while and even a few high school guys. It is a fun mix of people. We leave there sweaty every time but with smiles on our faces. Because I live in a rural area I drive 30 miles to the class twice a week, but we car pool and it is worth it.

45 minutes of Boot Camp and 60 minutes of Zumba. I wasn't sore when we finished, but I was weak as a kitten.

Got stuck with a double shift at work and it threw me off coarse for 2 days - gone from home from 6am - after 11:30 pm and just did not get my workout in for two days but I am back and today is a new day. 60 minutes in the gym. Lifting weights, strength training with small weights and a little time on the elliptical and treadmill. I hope to fix my back by strengthening my back muscles. That means doing the back exercises the doctor told me to do about 5 years ago. I do them until my back gets better and then I get lazy. That is so dumb. I am so mad that my back is giving me fits. No just the pain, but that it is interfering with my Zumba. I may eat wrong , but I love to exercise and I am mad that I put that at risk. URGHHHHH!.

Today I had to move to anew cube. Did not get home until late so I didn't get any exercise. Tomorrow will have to be my day one. I did sweat moving boxes and cleaning the new cube.

Day 1 Zumba and boot camp work out. 105 minutes. I was the slowest in the class due to back pain but after the 45 minute boot camp class I stretched my back out and was ready for 60 minutes of Zumba! Feeling sweaty and accomplished!!!!

Thanks Team Leader PAULKNUTH for organizing these streaks every month. I am so easily distracted and all of these different challenges help me keep focused. I like how some of the streaks are easier than others (i.e. fruits and vegetables streak.) When I mess up with the more difficult streaks, I feel like I still have accomplished something.

I know if I exercise more consistently I will lose weight. I need to loose weight to lower my cholesterol. Also even though my knee is alot better I need to get more weight off so it will continue to heal. I need to push myself to be more active. I run all day at work but am shot when I get home. I have plans in Oct. with a big get together with people I haven't seen for a year and would like to be 20 lbs lighter. I know that is expecting alot but here goes. Candy, You are a great mentor, and offer great support.

The main reason I want to lose weight is to be more mobile. I am moving so much better since I have been exercising consistently, but I know that if I was 20, 40 60 or even 80 pounds lighter I could fly and I would feel awesome! Of course for vanity sake I would like to look thinner too! What will happen if I don't lose weight? I am sure that eventually it will affect my health and I will continue to be disappointed with myself. When I see other folks struggling with their weight I feel bad for them and wish they could turn things around and save their own life. But, I am doing the exact thing they are by killing myself with a fork. I wish I had the discipline to get my self healthy. I know it sounds corny, but I would love to help other people get healthy either through be an aerobics instructor or a healthy lifestyle mentor. But until I do it for myself, I really can't help them.

Thanks for making me think about this! Now I will ask you... Why do you want to lose weight and what will happen if you don't?
