Summary:

Daily Energy: 7
Hunger level between meals: 10
Satisfaction level meals: 10
Struggles today with Primal efforts: resisting sweets....
Benefits from Primal Efforts: Able to resist eating sweets
Daily Highlights: I was able to resist the cookies that someone brought in today. Instead I had cottage cheese/mangoes & blueberries

Daily Needs to improve: increasing my water intake and getting more sleep

Day 4: 10/31/12

Summary:

Daily Energy levels: 8
Hunger level between meals: 1
Satisfaction level meals: 10
Struggles today with Primal efforts: Resisting Halloween candy (I had 3 little chocolates) emoticon
Benefits from Primal Efforts: only had 3... normally would have eaten much, much more!
Daily Highlights: Stayed on track for the most part

Daily Needs to improve: continuing to eat enough and resisting "sweets" that are around me at work! Add more "lift heavy things" days!

So I take it this is day 4?

I too have done this before and just need to bring myself back into step again. Eating isn't a problem but I do struggle a bit with the other aspects.

Daily Energy levels: 7
Hunger level between meals: 5
Satisfaction level meals: 10
Struggles today with Primal efforts: My struggle is hormonal changes that raise my hunger levels - makes it easy to crave carbs - need to work on that one
Benefits from Primal Efforts: cleaner eating, sharper mind, feel better

Daily Highlights: did the kitchen cleanout last week so that is all good!

Daily Needs to improve: daily movement I lift heavy things 3X a week in a gravity class but need more focused slow movement (although I do have animals to care for!!)


Things I need to do today:
1. Breathe in
2. Breathe out

Sorry to have kind of bailed out on this yesterday! We were in full hurricane prep the day before and yesterday I also had to go in the in the morning for a biopsy of a lump on my leg, so I spent most of the day in bed. I couldn't really do the increasing movement yesterday because of my leg, and the weather kept me and will keep me from restocking (although my kitchen is fairly primal already). If the electric/internet stays I'll try to post for today later on. I must say, not really the easiest time to start the challenge :)

Here's from yesterday 10/28

Daily Energy levels: 5 (I slept a lot, but I blame the biopsy and the crazy weather)
Hunger level between meals: 3
Satisfaction level meals: 8 - I didn't really put a lot of effort into cooking
Struggles today with Primal efforts: Staying away from "comfort foods" while recovering and in anticipation of the storm
Benefits from Primal Efforts: thinking more about my eating again makes me feel slightly more in control

Daily Highlights: Reacquainting myself with primal eating, sleeping :)

Daily Needs to improve: I definitely need to make sure to be more careful about avoiding non-primal food in the house - I can't really get rid of it all, because I am living with my parents while up here in the US, and they are not doing the challenge with me.

Daily Highlights: I am not new to the 21 day challenge, so I am not starting from the very beginning. My kitchen is already primal, so I didn't have to restock. This has been a great emoticon

Daily Needs to improve: Goal is to get more calories in.
