WOOHOO Michelle!!! That is awesome. It is such an empowering feeling and I was surprised by how quickly it happens. Have to say I miss the jumping in weight that I had on my round of LiveFit. Way to go:)

Ok, not to be all me, me, me...
but I had to go shopping today. I hardly have any clothes that fit and not having nice pants or even nice jeans to wear to functions and social outings was starting to be a problem. Sure I'll wear baggy jeans at home or even some loose pants to one of my chamber functions as I'm sort of getting tired of the attention from some of the old guys there (uh dude- BUSINESS function- not cool).
A few weeks ago, I was ecstatic to find some size 8 Gap jeans that my Mom had bought me for Christmas. I thought they fit. But I wore them twice and after a friend commented that they were too big, and the fact that I was pulling them up all the time, even with a belt, that was it. No more nice jeans left.

Today I had to go buy size 6. One pair of black jeans and one pair of herringbone trousers.
I haven't been a size 6 for almost 18 years.

When putting in my fitness tracker, I got to use my old 'Phase 3 Legs" grouping, which remembers the weights I put in last time.
Seated Calf Raises- Up 130% in weight pushed
Standing Calf Raises - Up 500%
One-legged squats- up 250%
Leg Extensions Up 50%
Leg Presses Up 400%

Time for some WOOHOOs for the week. Yes, amidst the chaos of this past stressful week there were some woohoo moments.

Yesterday at the end of an exhausting week a delivery guy came into my office. The two guys left in the office with me told him to come back on Monday when receiving was there. I looked at the delivery guys face (broken) and said nah, go back to the dock and I'll help you unload it. Of course the guys couldn't let me do it ALONE so they joined in. As we were unloading it I hear "oh no, Kristin that is too heavy for you" and sure enough I was moving that stuff with ease. They were shocked. I showed them. lol Felt and was fabulously strong!!!

The other day I was in a coworkers office and was rubbing my arms and said. Ouch, my arms are sore from my WO last night. She said "you aren't trying to lose MORE weight are you?" I said "yeah, when it happens it happens." She said "oh no, you don't need to lose anymore. you look perfect." awwww:) Of course she has blinders on and it is a bit of the mother compliment (comes from working with her for 23 years)! I obviously need to lose more, but it felt great to hear! Caught myself checking myself out in the mirror later. lol

Found some awesome tanks from Anthropologie on sale. Went down a size and they are the perfect cut for someone with expanding muscles in the back. Most cuts just make me look like I am fat. These show off some muscle and kind of slim. I love em!!!

My woohoo for the day...
I wore a tank today!!! Okay, I can't say I worked it, but was happy with the shoulders in it. Still have some chub covering the muscles.

So I am nearing the end of my first week in Phase 2 and I did my first complete set of lunges (3X20) !! I had tried earlier during Phase 1 but couldnt do them and must have pulled something trying. Each Week I would try again and would feel the same stabbing pain in the first lunge so i stopped not wanting to do any harm.

I am so excited I hate lunges but i finally did them to completion :) Maybe next week i will be able to add some weight but im not going to push it since doing them alone was seriously taxing!

So WooHOO :)

LOL...nah, you are kicking my butt.
i actually feel like i had more loss in the other weeks. may be hitting a plateau. as for the tris, i added another exercise to the workout (one of my favorites) probably shouldn't have.

with you on the bust. people have been commenting on them...and well...had more looks (the kind that make you want to run for cover). I think it is the loss on the waist. kills me because i lost as much in my chest and bust. go figure. another thing is I am actually wearing fitted clothes now so they are kind of "out of hiding"

just got a gift card to VS, boy do I need it! funny thing, that even though I've lost 2 bra sizes, people are perceiving that I am still busty. I guess its just relative to the smaller torso!

Yay LFF!!! Seeing triceps is awesome. I'm jealous. I can only see mine when I work 'em and twist my arm a certain way. If it was only acceptable to flex all the time. haha
I always say that if it wasn't for picking the right bras I would have to walk around with my arms over my head all the time. I choose VS:)

Last tri workout made me hurt for days. Boyfriend touched my arm and I yelped.

I meant to post yesterday, but I was falling asleep at the computer and just had to crash.

I definitely have a tricep muscle showing now! Still need to lose a couple inches off the arms, but I now have definition in back (to go with those new and improved biceps).

WooHoo 1: at work today, had not one, not two, but three people tell me that I looked good, healthy and better than they have ever seen me. Awwww.

WooHoo 2: Wore a fitted, striped shirt. Yes, stripes that were HORIZONTAL. lol Recieved compliments and someone says Kristin, come here and they are looking at my shoulder. I walk towards them saying "do I have something on me?" and they reach out and touch my shoulder. Give it a squeeze and say "man, you have some killer shoulders, what the heck are you doing?"
Now, was it the stripes or the workout (which btw I cannot handle much weight on still)? Who cares. It felt great. Confess to checking myself out in the mirror and smiling:)

Lesson learned...stripes are our friends!!!

Think this qualifies as a Woo Hoo. The newest resale jeans (purchased because of the weight loss) are too big. Wore em today and can pull my pants down easily without unzipping or unbuttoning:) Needless to say, I am through the day and the back pockets keep falling to my knees!

I love dents too! I am just seeing the tiniest of ones leading to my triceps. there's hope for them yet!
Kristin, I hope the BF starts poking at hard muscle parts soon!

my big WOOHOO today:

I have a new wardrobe. Took the stack of 'too small for now' pants down off the upper shelf and every size 10 fits perfect- even the 'runs small'. And the size 8 Gap jeans my mom (bless her heart) got me for Christmas? well, they zip and button. they're serious low-riders though, so too much muffin top for me to consider, but that's just one step closer.

5 new pairs of pants to wear.

Woohoos recently:

* My shoulders can now be considered "solid"...already! And I'm still in Phase I!
* I'm getting defined "bumps" in my upper arms and I can see the muscles separating and defining...even under all the fat I'm still storing!
* My stomach is somehow flattening out. Even Hubs remarked on this.
* My calf muscles are starting to show too...and I'm getting dents in my legs. (For those that don't know me, I always remark that dents are a good thing for me. Because of my weight, a dent to me is a place that once stored fat that has now been eaten away by the good muscles under there craving some much needed attention instead. ;) )

That is awesome! That is why I love biceps. You catch glimpses of 'em all the time. I must confess to reaching over and feeling how firm they are getting, even with the layer on top of them. Look at them guns!

I had a bit of a WOO HOO moment today. Stopped by the store to look for some pants that the butt didn't sag in. Found a couple things and a pair that was cute and fit pretty good, but changed my mind and told the gal "No, I shouldn't, I won't fit into those in a couple weeks." I said it out loud AND believed it! Resale shops here I come...

Chest and Triceps and caught up on biceps today. 15 lb bicep curls on all 3 sets. Woohoo!

Also, reaching out to turn a door knob the other day I was like, what the heck is that on my arm? Oh crap! those are my triceps popping!!! I didn't realize you could start to get definition like this when you have as much BF as I do, but it's just one more reason to see this all the way through. Its only the end of phase 1! Can't wait to see where I'm at at the end of phase 3

I met ALL my nutritional goals, upped the list and haven't been able to meet all of them. It's Saturday to top it off. I tend to not want to eat on the weekend. Easier during the week with the structure.

Also had a moment today where I was cleaning the bathroom and caught a glimpse of myself and saw that I looked healthy! You know those times where for an instant you look and forget that it is you. Before you start looking for the flaws.

It was a good day:)
