Ok so we have this Team Goal for fitness minutes.....

The goal that is set is: For everyone to do 400 minutes in one month....

ALREADY this month... these are our stats:

Team's Monthly Goal: 240,000

Team's Progress for the Current Month: 4,231

Team Members: 1,032

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo IF EVERYONE pulls 230 minutes each at minimum for the rest of this month.... WE could actually reach our goal!

HOW COOL would that be?????

So My challenge for you this month is to get out there and put in those fitness minutes.... and LOG THEM IN!

Please... LOG THEM IN! Lets show Spark that we are more than hamsters running in the wheel. Lets show Spark that the BC GIRLS are a force to be reckoned with!

doing the aqua fit program at the pool today but hope to get some extra leaves raked again today. We had a shower of leaves yesterday. looked like a shower of leaves.

Good morning, ladies. It's been some time since I've been here to chat. I've been walking for 2 hours every other day. I'm exhausted and my feet hurt. I'm doing well other than that. As you see I'm down to 188 and loving walking in ONE-derland. lol Still have 50 pounds to go but positive that I can manage.

Sunday came and went without too much success on the challenge. I managed wall pushups and stick-ups on the wall, (just want to say I looked hilarious, my husband couldn't stop laughing) step ups and bridge ups weren't too much more successful. I can't hold a bridge to save my life. It hurts my knees along with my back. I'm afraid I did a lot of my Wii exercises instead.

GO LAURA!
I can't do real pushups, my left arm is hurt, not only do I have tennis elbow but I have hurt my tricep somehow and using it is really painful. Im trying to take it easy and do little things to try and build its strength back up.

This challenge was daunting for my knees. I did the ones that I could and improvised the rest. Push-ups on the wall don't quite measure up to real ones but I did them .lol. I'm afraid that I was only able to a couple reps of most exercises and some I didn't do at all. My body just won't comply with my wishes. Still working on it though; a couple more days to try and get it done.

I've been ill since Thursday. Finally feeling like maybe I'm going to be able to some more housework and then the exercises. I definitely need to get the pears canned tomorrow. they are way past ripe. Hopefully not too over-ripe. I didn't get any exercise in but hopefully on my way tomorrow. Have a great week team.

Good morning all BC Girls. Even though I have not been doing each challenge that you have set for the team Heather, I have been walking/gardening all this week. There are days I do a 15 minute walk and days when I do 20. Gardening is at least 45 minutes but even then DH chastises me because he knows how much I can hurt afterwards. I just do not want him thinking that there is so much to do especially with his surgery coming up. So I will continue with the gardening but drop it down to 30 minutes instead.

Hope everyone is having a great day out there.

This week got off to a better start. I did a 20 minute walk yesterday and 90 of gardening today. Have to get the yard ready for fall before DH goes in for his surgery next week. Hope everyone else is doing well.

I'm not doing the beginner or advanced challenges but the senior ones. I enjoyed the article today on exercising as a senior. I may not be over 60 but my body doesn't know that. My body is in general state of disrepair. In other words it's falling apart. lol I find I can do the exercises that don't put too much impact on my joints. Thanks Heather.

I didn't do any of the challenges today but I did go for an 8.9km run tonight.... not too shabby. I think it took me about 65 minutes. I forgot to turn my timer on for the first wee bit so I added an extra 10 minutes to my time....

Ok I did 30 minutes of cardio today and I kicked it up a notch... go hell bent for leather for 20 seconds and and slow down for 10... in between (15 min cardio) I tried the Tabata workout... then another 15 min of cardio. I only did 4 rounds of the Tabata though and by the end of it all I had only did 45 min of working out but I felt like Hurling and I was sweating like a stuck pig! So good workout and I think I burned more calories than either Spark or the machines say I did but whatever.

So even though I didn't complete the whole Tabata I want to still say emoticon
