GLAZED SWEET POTATO CUBES

A holiday meal doesn’t seem complete without sweet potatoes. This healthful version will be a family favorite for years to come.
Ingredients
Cooking spray
2 tablespoons chopped pecans
2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon light brown sugar
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 pound sweet potato(es) (about 1 large), peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
Cooking Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Lightly spray a 1 1 /2-quart shallow baking dish with cooking spray.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the ingredients except the sweet potato cubes. Add the cubes, stirring to coat. Arrange in a single layer in the baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil.
Bake for 40 minutes, stirring halfway through. Stir again. Bake, uncovered, for 15 minutes, or until the cubes are tender and the glaze has thickened and sticks to them.

Chocolate-Banana Grahams
A graham cracker smeared with Nutella and topped with banana and coconut is a light way to satisfy your sweet tooth.

1 serving | Active Time: 5 minutes | Total Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients
•1 square graham cracker, broken into 2 rectangles
•1/2 teaspoon Nutella or other chocolate-hazelnut spread, divided
•2 slices banana, about 2 inches long
•1/2 teaspoon sweetened shredded coconut, toasted if desired, divided

Preparation
1.Spread each graham cracker piece with 1/4 teaspoon Nutella and top with a slice of banana and a sprinkling of coconut.

Superbowl - Football in a Blanket Bites Recipe
WebMD Recipe from the WebMD Weight Loss Clinic

Ingredients:
1 can refrigerated reduced-fat crescent rolls
About five lower-fat turkey franks (such as bun-length Louis Rich®)

Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Unroll roll dough; separate into eight triangles. Cut each triangle in half to make two triangles.
2. Cut each hot dog into three pieces, about 2 inches each (depending on the length of the hot dog)
3. Place each hot dog piece in the center of one of the small triangles of dough and wrap the dough around the hot dog. Place on nonstick baking sheet. Repeat with remaining crescent dough and turkey franks.
4. Bake for 11 to 13 minutes or until dough is golden brown.
5. Serve these with ketchup, mustard, or even BBQ sauce.

Yield:

16 Bites (8 servings)
