There are supervised exercise programs at local hospitals for people with heart recovery issues. I am glad you joined an exercise program! emoticon

Well had to fill out my annual survey. Last year I was 247 and now I am 264 that is a 17 pound GAIN!!!
This has been the first time I have gained more than 5# in a year. Matter of fact I had a loss I think except for this time. I can not believe that having my heart attack would cause this. I am on alfa blockers and bata inhibitors. Bottom line these meds holds my heart rate down and when I exercise it does not seem to help as much for weight loss. So I rejoined the YMCA again to see if a more intense workout can get me loosing again.Wish me luck!

That is a very good goal to strive for. It really is easy to do 100% of the time. A piece of fruit is a good to go breakfast unless you have Blood Sugar issues. Whole Grain cereal is not a bad choice not even for dinner if you can stay within your carb range. Bottom line anything is better than nothing at all. Do not skip meals! Look around the site most of us eat 3 meals 1-3 snacks. Some acually eat 5-6 mini- meals. It just seems to work better and keeps you from making these bad choices. As your journey continues you will need to be a better meal planner. The family around you may not always be making good choices and to follow suite will set you back.

Personally - I love breakfast! If my hubby would let me I would have a bowl of cereal for dinner everynight! But that's not a very good example for the kids so I don't - I usually eat whatever everyone else is having. Unfortunately, I usually skip eating breakfast in the morning which makes my even more hungry later!

Anyway - one of my goals is to make sure I eat breakfast everyday! Even if it's just a piece of fruit on my way out the door!

Hello

I will check it out. Thanks!

I know, personally, I always loose weight when I eat breakfast. I do not like breakfast, but my body does!

Have a great day!

Hello Gang!

I have been accepted to be on this registry. They track 5000 people for 5 years and use what we say in annual surveys to focuse research into weight loss. You have have seen a stat like 78% of sucessful weight loosers eat breakfast every day. This is where it comes from. If you like to help people out check out there website (www.nwcr.ws) and consider applying. It is a large survey and you will get one over the next 5 years. I am curious to know, does someone know anyone that has pertisipated?
