Your challenge for this month:
1. Choose one goal for each week, give yourself the week to reach it. As you move through the week cross off each day that you get closer to your goal. (The visual of marking the day helps you to focus on your goal) (Your first week will be a short week!)

Week 1. Try and get in some kind of exercise daily. (I am going to meditate every day. I have already started this and it ends today.--I am also doing a yoga pose every day)

Week 2. Focus on getting 8 glasses of water a day. Have not done so well with this week, it's been to busy. --(I currently get 8 or more glasses of water daily)

Week 3. Make good food choices --

Week 4. Work on joining positive teams in my area--

Week 5. Clean my kitchen and prepare it for cooking everyday--

2. Choose a treat for yourself for the reaching ALL your goals at the end of the month.

emoticon I really nee this one: Week 1 - Joined Team.
Week 2- Goal: Complete Team Newsletter.
Saturday-Looked at examples of articles. Made the decision
almost anything goes. I will not put the effort to come
up with an "article". I will begin searching my
materials tomorrow: Day 2.
Sunday- Oops I forgot to post. I did begin to look for material
Monday- Sort through material separate appropriate materials
Found topics.
Tuesday- Take feedback from Co-leader and make any re-visons in plan necessary- Begin initial outline..Discussed plan with leader. Working on outline. ( Received a bonus of finding enough material for next month, and challenge questions-this puts me a bit ahead if I continue as planned).
Wednesday-Although plenty of time I am feeling a bit pushed.
Today, I will go to the library, limit my search to something simple, and put it with what I have. I will spend only 1 hr. (I have a tendency to get distracted by information, and other things not relevant.) I made it to the library, and completed an initial draft of article.
Thursday-Article rough draft. I moved forward more yesterday than I thought. This is good because it gives me more time. I will incorporate some additional information and re-draft. emoticon

Week 3 - New Beginning. Goal(s) 5K Training and financial organization.
Sunday Complete yoga
Put bills in areas where they belong.

Ok, I'm going to do this!

Week 1 - I swam 4 days, exercised at the gym, and walked 2 miles, so am realizing my exercise goals are a little too much for right now. I'll adjust them and make them a little more realistic.
Week 2 - Swim 4/5 days this week and walk 2 1/2 miles.....I'm going to be gone for 3 days, so, I'm going to have to really figure this one out. But I'll do it!
Week 3 - Swim 4/5 days this week and walk 3 miles
Week 4 - Swim 4/5 days this week and walk 3 1/2 miles

I'm new to this team and challenge, and am looking forward to it.

Diane

Well, I didn't manage to stick to the schedule as well as I'd have liked, thanks to a few health issues getting in the way from time to time.

However, I did complete testing Just Dance, Just Dance 2, Wii Fit Plus and most of Zumba by the end of the month. :-)

I tested the last of the Zumba on the 1st October. So I will carry the rest of this challenge over to the October challenge.

Hugs,
Lex xxx

Week 2. Focus on getting 8 glasses of water a day. Have not done so well with this week, it's been to busy.

Week 3. Make good food choices as I have 4 different events going on this week concerning food. I did the best I could.

Week 4. Work on some unfinished craft projects. This did not get done!

Week 5. Go through fall clothes, do some fall cleaning and more declutterning. Now this one is accomplished, I did this today and was surprised at how many of my clothes are too big and don't look right on me anymore, so I have a nice big bag of clothes ready to go to the clothing bank and I hope some people will get lots of good use from my cleaning out my closet.

2. Choose a treat for yourself for the reaching ALL your goals at the end of the month.

My reward will be a new fall clothing item. Well I got a new pair of shoes for the gym and will be getting a pair of sweat pants to workout in. I didn't reach every goal, but am still going to reward myself as I feel I did pretty good.

Hugs,
Shirl

Perfect and manageable challenge for me given my 4 month stretch of illnesses...and facing 2 crazy work months. Thanks, Wanda. I need focus to get back on track.

WEEK 1: Though never an issue for me, don't stop long enough at work to get my water in. Goal this week is to get a minimum of 8 glassesmof water per day.
Sunday - done
Monday - done
Tuesday - done
Wednesday - done
Thursday - done
Friday - done
Saturday - done

WEEK 2: Start using my nutrition tracker at SP again...daily.
Sunday - done
Monday - done
Tuesday - done
Wednesday - done
Thursday - done
Friday - done
Saturday - done

WEEK 3: Figure out 2- 15 min movement sessions that don't require my arms for balance or use (still dealing with fracture)

WEEK 4: Back to writing a daily blessings list.

okay...off to drink my 2nd glass of water...

Oh this sounds perfect for me. I really need to get back into the swing of things. My goal for the month of September and October is to lose 14.5 pounds using 3 exercise ideas and a diabetic menu. It would be great to break them up into weekly ideas rather than all at once.

1. First week - walk around the block with the dog every day and use food tracker
2. Second week - add rebounding to the walk and make sure to drink the water
3. Third week - add the bathroom wall pushes
4. Work up an exchange diabetic menu
5. Clean up my office

Reward: Pedicure

I'm working on trying to streamline my exercising so that even my cardio reflects the part of my body I'm working on that day. For example, a lot of Zumba has a high amount of core movement, so it would be good to Zumba on my core days. To that end my goals are:

Goals:
Week 1: to complete testing out my Just Dance game songs for Upper, Lower and Core options.

Week 2: to complete testing out my Just Dance 2 game songs for Upper, Lower and Core options.

Week 3: Do the same for my Wii Fit Plus and Zumba

Week 4: Get the lists built up for Upper, Lower, Core and Full Body days

Week 5: Start using my lists.

My treat: I don't know. How about some new exercise clothing. I could use a new pair of trainers. :-) Or maybe a trawl round the charity shops for some smaller clothes. Mine are starting to hang off me. :-) I'll see what the finances have to say by the end of the month. :-)

We are off to a new month and for many of us back into schedules and busy things.

Your challenge for this month:
1. Choose one goal for each week, give yourself the week to reach it. As you move through the week cross off each day that you get closer to your goal. (The visual of marking the day helps you to focus on your goal) (Your first week will be a short week!)

2. Choose a treat for yourself for the reaching ALL your goals at the end of the month.

Hint: make them obtainable goals. By breaking down your goals into smaller obtainable ones, you are more likely to have success.

Hugs,
Wanda

Goals:
Week 1: to maintain a wheat-free eating week SUCCESS

Week 2: drink my 8 glasses of water each day (for some reason this has been a struggle for me of late) MOSTLY SUCCESSFUL

Week 3: Complete all my canning from the garden. NOT COMPLETE...my tomatoes are still ripening...will continue to work on this one.

Week 4: Organize the basement. Make sure the floor is completely dry and arrange for the new carpet to be installed. MOSTLY DONE...just need some assistance from hubby. The floor looks dry now!

Week 5: Put my LR/DR back together...hopefully the new built in area will be finished. DONE! Well mostly...I still need to find curtains, but as I am being very picky...it might still be awhile.

My treat: a weekend free from chores.
