I did lunges today which felt pretty good to do. My legs are feeling pretty sore and getting tight.

Find a new exercise or something you have not done in a long time, to do every day. Now I am not saying you have to start a new program or anything. For example today I did basic crunches which I have not done in a real long time. I can already feel the burn in my abs.
